The primary responsibilities of this position will be to maintain and/or increase customer loyalty by supporting the customer from ordering till delivering. Further, the associate is responsible for managing orders in an accurate,
timely and professional way.
About the job:
- Handles customer orders by receiving purchase orders through email, EDI, or fax, entering orders within 24 hours, making order changes or cancellations when needed, and resolving any issues that may prevent orders from being processed.
- Follows up on customer requests such as urgent orders, special shipments, product availability, delivery updates, complaints, returns, and credit or debit adjustments.
- Builds good relationships with customers by regularly providing delivery and order updates, communicating with them through phone or email, helping with customer projects, addressing concerns, and supporting other Customer Service Representatives when needed.
- Supports the sales team by preparing and updating quotations, checking and managing prices, coordinating with Product Management for special price approvals, maintaining price lists, and sending product change notifications to customers.
- Performs other duties such as reviewing existing order processing procedures for their effectiveness and making suggestions for improvement, where necessary; maintaining customer-related data
- Ensures quality-related information and requirements are properly communicated to affected groups and are properly responded
About you:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a customer service-related environment is mandatory,
- Excellent writing and verbal English language skills are required; 2nd and 3rd languages are preferred (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, German, French)
- Basic/advanced knowledge of MS Office
- 4SAP and Material Resource Planning (MRP) system knowledge are preferred
- Working knowledge of quality standards (ISO/QS/TS) is preferred
