We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Calgary team and serve as the first point of contact at our rental counter.
In this role, you will work directly with customers, process rental and sales transactions, support equipment inquiries, and help ensure a positive customer experience from start to finish. Job Description:
What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service at the rental counter, ensuring every customer receives prompt and professional support
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with equipment inquiries, rentals, and purchases
- Promote and sell rental products, equipment, and services that meet customer needs
- Prepare rental contracts, sales agreements, and supporting documentation
- Process equipment returns and close rental contracts accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all paperwork is completed and up to date
- Utilize internal systems to process transactions, check equipment availability, and manage customer inquiries
- Support purchasing activities and maintain knowledge of purchasing procedures
- Assist with basic equipment servicing and coordination as required
- Work collaboratively with branch operations and service teams to support customer needs
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple customer requests
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to learn technical products and equipment applications
- Comfortable interacting with customers from construction, industrial, and related industries
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
Experience
- Several years of direct sales and customer service experience
- Experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial, automotive, or related industries is considered an asset
- Experience preparing contracts, processing transactions, and managing customer accounts is preferred
