Role Overview
Our client is supporting the development of advanced AI systems through expert legal review, research, and evaluation.
We are looking for experienced Corporate Attorneys from top-tier US law firms to analyze complex transactions, contracts, litigation materials, and corporate-law scenarios. The role focuses on M&A, private equity, capital markets, commercial litigation, legal drafting, and issue spotting, with contributors helping ensure that AI-generated legal work reflects real-world US legal practice.
CONTRACT: Short-term contractor assignment (1099)
LOCATIONS: Remote USA
HOURLY RATE: $140 - $400/h
NOTES: Active legal licensure and demonstrated expertise in U.S. immigration law are required.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze complex corporate documents, contracts, and transaction structures.
- Evaluate matters involving M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
- Review commercial litigation materials and identify relevant legal and procedural issues.
- Assess AI-generated legal reasoning, issue spotting, and drafting approaches.
- Annotate and categorize legal data used for AI training and evaluation.
- Explain key corporate-law concepts and transactional considerations clearly.
- Review complex agreements for accuracy, completeness, and practical relevance.
- Apply defined evaluation rubrics and quality standards consistently.
- Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and internal reviewers.
- Maintain a high standard of legal accuracy, clarity, and compliance with US practice.
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in the United States.
- Recent experience, current or within the last 3 years, at a top-tier BigLaw firm.
- Strong professional experience in corporate law, M&A, private equity, or capital markets.
- Experience handling high-value transactional matters.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and issue-spotting skills.
- Excellent written English and ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts clearly.
- Strong attention to detail in high-stakes legal work.
