About the role


As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing operations by leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost while creating more efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes.


This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to make a measurable impact. You'll lead Kaizen events, optimize production workflows, analyze manufacturing performance, and implement Lean tools that eliminate waste and improve operational performance. Your work will directly influence how we manufacture our products while helping build a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and apply Lean tools including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
  • Analyze production data, conduct time studies, and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and workflow.
  • Design and implement process, layout, and material flow improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to deliver sustainable operational improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve recurring manufacturing issues.
  • Support new product introductions, capacity planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring improvements are sustained through training, audits, and standardized work.
  • Promote a safe working environment by following company policies and supporting a culture of operational excellence.

Key Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience conducting Value Stream Mapping exercises and implementing improvement plans.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of production planning, facility layout, workflow design, and labor optimization.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing performance metrics.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to influence and engage employees at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by data-driven decision making.
