About the Role:

CodeNinja's marketing team runs multiple concurrent campaigns in both national and international markets, and we are looking to augment our distribution by hiring an on-camera presence: someone who can turn product and solution narratives into short-form video that people actually watch. This is a net-new role created specifically to address the growing needs in the market and across distribution channels. 

Requirements

What You'll do:

• Be the on-camera face for short-form video — product walkthroughs, solution explainers, sprint recaps, and quick-take videos for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X. 

• Turn existing long-form assets (blog posts, whitepapers, thesis docs, sprint briefs) into scripts for 45-90 second videos you won't start from a blank page most weeks. 

• Work directly with our video editor and content team to plan, script, shoot, and publish on a weekly cadence tied to each campaign's rollout calendar. 

• Own the short-form video slot inside each sprint's distribution plan — currently one recurring "Sprint Video" plus ad hoc clips, with room to grow. 

• Bring original short-form ideas suited to each platform — not just repurposed long-form content read out loud. 

• Occasionally cut short-form clips from longer video or podcast

What we're looking for 

• About 1 year of experience creating and appearing in short-form video content. Tech, B2B, or SaaS experience is a plus, not a requirement. 

• Genuinely comfortable on camera — a natural communicator who can simplify a technical or enterprise idea without sounding scripted. 

• Understands what actually makes short-form work on each platform: hooks, pacing, captions, and current formats, not just "post the video." 

• Can self-shoot and rough-cut on tools like CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar. You won't be expected to be a full post-production editor, but you should be able to move without waiting on someone else. 

• Curious about AI and enterprise technology, and willing to learn CodeNinja's positioning, voice, and claims standards — this is regulated, evidence-led B2B content, not a personal channel. 

• Comfortable in a fast, sprint-based environment with multiple campaigns running in parallel and weekly delivery batches. 

Nice to have 

• An existing portfolio or personal following in tech/product content. 

• Experience delivering scripted content to camera (teleprompter or similar). 

• Some exposure to B2B or enterprise audiences, even if the content itself wasn't enterprise. 

Reporting line 

Reports to the Head of Marketing and Brand Strategy. Works closely with the video editor/production lead and the content team on a weekly production cycle.
