Role Overview
We are hiring a Community Manager to build and grow Turing’s community across developers (Supply) and customers (Demand). Reporting to the Head of Talent Growth, you will own social media, events, and partnerships — turning community engagement into measurable brand advocacy and top-of-funnel impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Help engage with talent across social media and other channels effectively.
- Lead community strategy initiatives for both Demand and Supply in coordination with Talent Growth leadership.
- Organize and execute diverse virtual and in-person events, such as roundtables, hackathons, panels, and launch events.
- Ensure community initiatives are synchronized with Product, Sales, and Marketing departments to bolster retention and acquisition.
- Deliver regular community performance briefings during monthly business reviews.
- Discover and mobilize strategic partnerships with creators, brands, and various organizations to broaden the community's footprint.
- Establish ambassador initiatives designed to cultivate brand advocates from the active member base.
- Monitor community metrics—including partnership ROI, event turnout, and engagement levels—to drive rapid iteration.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years in community management, growth marketing, or brand partnerships; consumer marketplace or Talent growth background preferred.
- Proven track record growing online communities with measurable engagement outcomes.
- Experience planning and executing IRL and virtual events at varying scale (10 to 500+ attendees).
- Data-driven: comfortable with social analytics, community KPIs, and translating insights into action.
- Strong communicator; able to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Engineering.
- High ownership — moves fast, follows through, thrives in ambiguity.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with community platforms: Slack, Discord, Circle, Luma, or Bevy.
- Experience building community from scratch at a startup.
- Background in creator economy, consumer fintech, or social commerce.
