Sobre esta vaga de Commercial Operations Manager na Triskele Labs
About Triskele Labs
Triskele Labs is an Australian sovereign, independent, founder owned cybersecurity business on a journey to be a leading provider of cybersecurity services done properly, built on purpose, culture and mission.
We have pivoted into Government, Corporate and Enterprise while continuing to support our mid-market clients. That shift has changed our commercial work. We now negotiate on customer paper, respond to formal tenders, hold government panel arrangements and manage a growing vendor base.
We need someone to own that work properly.
The opportunity
This is a newly created role reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Contracts, MSAs and vendor agreements are currently progressed by our executive team alongside everything else they do. Nobody owns the process end to end, and work that should be systematic is not.
You will be that owner. From the moment a contract arrives to the moment it renews, it is yours.
This is a commercial appointment, not a legal one. We retain external counsel for genuine legal judgement. You will work to a defined playbook, agreed with our lawyers, that gives you real authority on liability caps, payment terms, indemnities and the clauses that arise every week. You escalate what genuinely warrants it and close out the rest yourself.
What you will own
Contract review and negotiation. First reviewer on every inbound customer contract, MSA, statement of work and variation. Direct negotiation with customer procurement and legal teams. Redlining counterparty paper and driving it to execution.
The contract register. A complete view of every agreement we hold, with terms, notice periods, renewal windows and price escalation clauses tracked and actioned ahead of time.
Entitlements and margin support. Translating what we sign into what we owe, and handing that to delivery and finance. This work feeds directly into cost to serve and margin analysis alongside our Financial Controller.
Bids and assurance. Returnable schedules, compliance matrices, customer security questionnaires, third party risk assessments, and our government panel and prequalification arrangements.
Procurement. Vendor, supplier, reseller and subcontractor agreements, including negotiation, renewals and ensuring customer obligations flow down correctly.
Governance. Operating the delegation of authority, supporting deal desk decisions, and reporting on contract cycle time, renewal exposure and vendor spend.
Requirements
About you
- Five or more years in commercial contract management, contract administration, procurement or commercial operations
- Demonstrated experience negotiating MSAs and services agreements directly with counterparty procurement and legal teams, rather than administering agreements reached by others
- Working command of the clauses that matter: limitation of liability, indemnities, intellectual property, warranties, termination, data protection and confidentiality
- Experience owning a contract register and renewal cycle at volume
- The confidence to hold a commercial position under internal pressure, including from senior stakeholders
Highly regarded
- Technology, managed services, professional services or cybersecurity background
- Australian government procurement, panel arrangements or prequalification experience
- Security questionnaires, third party risk or assurance framework experience
- Tender and bid response experience
- Contract lifecycle management tooling implementation
Please note: this is not a legal appointment and does not involve providing legal advice. Candidates seeking a pathway to in house counsel are not the right fit for this role.
Why this role
You are building the function rather than maintaining it. There is no predecessor's system to work around. You will define how this operates and then run it.
You will also see across the whole business. Contracts, procurement, bids, vendors and margin all pass through this seat, which makes it a strong platform into commercial leadership.
Applying
Apply through SEEK with your CV. If you would like to tell us about a negotiation you are proud of, we would rather read that than a standard cover letter. Address this to Rob Barry, Chief Operations Officer. Applications without this will not be considered.
Triskele Labs is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
