Job Description:

Scope of Position:

• Provides expertise relating to Women's services for patients, families, and community.
• Provides individual and group education to patients and families. Provides accurate assessments of a patients physical and emotional status, identify learning needs and any unique special requirements needed to facilitate a positive learning environment for the patient and patient support/family.
• Provides education, both formal and informal, for patients, families, and the community in specialty area.
• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire.

• Associates and/or Bachelor's degree

Preferred
Current experience leading and teaching Childbirth or related education classes
