Role Title:  Change Manager

Segment: Mars Snacking ANZ

Location: Melbourne, Australia

Hours: Full-time. Fixed term role until December 2027

Reporting to: People & Organisation (P&O) Director, ANZ Snacking

We have a unique opportunity for a strategic and agile Change Manager to join our Mars Snacking People & Organisation (P&O) team. You will play a central, highly visible role in driving the change management strategy for our major Mars Snacking integration and operating model transformation across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Reporting to the Mars Snacking ANZ P&O Director and working in close partnership with our Transformation Director, you will drive the development and coordination of various change initiatives so that our teams are prepared to adopt new processes, reports, and systems, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As our Change Manager, you will lead change initiatives that maximize adoption and minimize business disruption. You will work cross-functionally with senior leaders, project teams, and Regional AMEA stakeholders to execute a cohesive change strategy.

• Develop & Execute Strategy: Build and deliver a comprehensive change management strategy (using Prosci ADKAR framework) tailored to diverse audiences.
• Lead Change Kick-starters: Facilitate kick-starter sessions for new initiatives in their definition stages to assess size, scale, complexity, and resource requirements.
• Assess Impact & Manage Risk: Proactively assess, classify, and mitigate organizational and functional impacts. Identify potential risks to the program and develop mitigation plans.
• Coach Senior Leaders: Provide direct coaching, consultation, and support to project leads and senior leadership teams to help them guide their people through several complex transitions.
• Partner on Communications: Collaborate closely with Corporate Affairs and Internal Communications to deliver highly effective, transparent, and engaging change communications.
• Measure Success: Define, track, and report on change performance metrics and KPIs, utilizing feedback and data to continually optimise change strategies.

We are seeking an influential, collaborative leader who thrives in ambiguity and can navigate a complex, multi-stakeholder environment with empathy and strategic agility.

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
• Prosci Certification is highly preferred
• 10 years of professional experience in a business environment, preferably within the FMCG sector
• Proven track record of leading or managing change deployment in large-scale, cross-functional organizational transformations
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional and globally/regionally dispersed teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• A strong understanding of structural and cultural change dynamics
