Are you interested in furthering your career in Buying? This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Buyer to take on ownership of categories within the Ladies Nightwear and Slipper department at George .

Getting the details right can have a surprisingly big impact, as you'll soon realise when you join our team. In this incredibly fast moving and ever changing environment, you'll discover exactly how much the little details matter. From daily sales and supplier meetings, to admin support and marketing getting everything accurate is hugely important. And doing it as efficiently as possible will bring savings to our customers as well as to our business.

You will support the Buyer in all areas, including sales tracking, product development and analysis. It's important that you keep the admin up to date, including line listing, cost and retail changes and liaise with suppliers to ensure that they keep to deadlines and tasks. You will input into decisions on ranges and strategy, taking end to end ownership of selected categories and suppliers. Other important tasks include assisting the Buyer with competitor research and the day to day trading of your category.
