Our Grid Integration portfolio spans a wide range of transmission and substation applications, which facilitate reliable and efficient system integration of the future digital electric network with minimum environmental impact.
We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.
How you’ll make an impact
1.You will perform semiconductor calculations and simulations to determine voltage stresses and losses in the semiconductors and valve electronics and verify your calculations with hands-on high-power testing in our test laboratories.
2.You handle conceptualize, simulate, develop and test power electronics circuits for high power transmission applications.
3.You will be involved in design and specify components, collaborate with suppliers, and plan and run tests on prototypes.
4.You will take responsibility for the design of electrical subsystems of our converter stations from ideation phase through concept and detail design to final test and verification.
5.You will modify and upgrade power electronics control board’s hardware and software.
6.You will cooperate with system input, support mechanical development from insulation, voltage and current stress evaluation.
7.You will provide technical support for tendering and delivery projects.
8.You will need to address many kinds of technical challenges, since working with cutting edge technology.
9.Your effort to work agile, in Teams, hands-on, taking technology and personal development ownership.
10.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1.You hold a degree in Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or equivalent.
2.Work experience from similar industries is preferable.
3.Experience with working with laboratory equipment and converter prototyping and testing is a plus. If you have experience of power electronics in high voltage products even better.
4.Experience with software like LTspice, MATLAB or PSCAD, is valuable.
5.You are a natural team player and enjoy collaborating with others, find clever solutions and solve problems together. You enjoy working agile and hands-on, and you are ready to take ownership of both the technology you’re working with, and your own personal development.
6.It will be a part of your job to communicate with other departments, team members, projects leaders and suppliers. It is therefore important that you are open-minded and straightforward in your communication.
7.Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
