Business Analyst supports business, risk, control, and transformation initiatives by helping teams translate business needs into practical, well controlled solutions. This role partners across functions to gather requirements, support process and control assessments, coordinate review deliverables, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and responsible use of AI. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast evolving environment where business processes, technology, risk, and controls intersect.What You'll Do
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable solutions that support automation and AI enabled capabilities.
- Support walkthroughs and process, risk, and control discussions to identify key controls, applications, models, vendors, data dependencies, and IT dependencies relevant to the process under review.
- Promote strong control ownership by helping stakeholders understand control responsibilities, documentation expectations, and the importance of sustainable execution.
- Analyze current state processes and identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve efficiency through technology, AI, low-code, and workflow solutions.
- Assist with documenting business processes, requirements, risks, controls, process changes, decisions, and action items in a clear and organized manner.
- Track deliverables, open items, dependencies, and follow up actions to support timely completion of reviews, assessments, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to evaluate the operational impact of process, system, automation, and AI related changes.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Three years experience in business analysis, digital transformation, compliance, or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, NIST, SOX, ISO, SOC I, SOC II, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) methodologies and practices
- Experience supporting process redesign, workflow improvement, automation using AI, or similar technology solutions.
- Foundational understanding of agentic and AI enabled systems, including an interest in how AI can be applied responsibly to business processes and transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to organize information, identify dependencies, and translate complex topics into clear business requirements and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, willingness to learn new technologies, processes, risk concepts, and collaborate effectively across the organization.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
