The Opportunity

As a Boston - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment within our Assurance practice, gaining exposure to digital assurance and audit methodologies. This role offers the chance to support client-facing teams, contributing to projects that enhance transparency and integrity in financial reporting. You will be involved in tasks that uphold compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing businesses to focus on their growth.

As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, all while observing professional work environments. Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into financial reporting processes
- Assisting in the preparation and review of audit documentation and reports
- Engaging in basic research tasks to support audit findings and recommendations
- Applying cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management
- Collaborating with team members to understand and implement compliance and governance protocols
- Utilizing artificial intelligence platforms to streamline audit procedures and improve efficiency
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional development

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
