Job Description

DUTIES: Integrate sensing devices into the vehicle subsystems including lighting. Create and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates. Develop and maintain commodity specific documentation. Generate and maintain Global subsystem/component technical specifications templates. 10% domestic and international travel required. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Design Engineer, Hardware Engineer, or related occupation. Two (2) years of experience with: Automotive product development, including exterior lighting systems and electronic module ownership through the full lifecycle (requirements, design, validation, launch, and production support); DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Engineering Change Management (ECM) for safety-/regulatory-relevant components and systems; CAD/PLM tools including NX, TeamCenter, and Vis Mockup for packaging, interface definition, and release of components and assemblies; Structured problem-solving methods including 8D and DFSS; Finite Element / structural analysis to support component robustness and manufacturability evaluations; and Application of GD&T and tolerance analysis for precision mechanical interfaces.
