We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to build the top of the sales funnel within the semiconductor and deep-tech ecosystem. The role focuses on high-volume outbound prospecting, identifying qualified prospects, generating interest, and booking meetings for the sales team.
You will engage with engineering and semiconductor decision-makers through calls, email, and LinkedIn, representing the company in initial conversations and creating meaningful sales opportunities. This is a target-driven role suited for someone who enjoys outbound sales, understands technical audiences, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to targeted semiconductor and engineering prospects.
- Identify and engage decision-makers across semiconductor, engineering, simulation, and deep-tech organizations.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, technical requirements, and buying potential.
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for the sales team.
- Communicate the company's value proposition clearly and confidently to technical and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-ups.
- Handle initial objections and nurture prospects until they are ready for a sales conversation.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach activity, lead status, and follow-up schedules.
- Work closely with sales leadership to refine prospecting strategies, messaging, target accounts, and daily priorities.
- Stay informed about semiconductor technologies, simulation workflows, and developments within the deep-tech ecosystem.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience in BDR, SDR, business development, or outbound sales.
- Strong understanding of semiconductors, simulations, or deep-tech environments.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong cold-calling, email outreach, lead qualification, and meeting-setting skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with engineering and semiconductor professionals.
- Strong objection-handling and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working with high-volume outbound activity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Prior experience selling technical products, engineering software, or semiconductor solutions.
- Familiarity with semiconductor design, EDA, simulation, or engineering workflows.
- Experience working with enterprise or B2B technology customers.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Experience working with global customers or US-based prospects.
