As an Azure Databricks & MS Fabric Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing data pipelines and integration solutions to support efficient data processing and analysis
- Developing and managing data infrastructure using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Leading teams in the strategic planning and execution of data engineering projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Utilizing advanced data engineering platforms and tools such as Apache Airflow and Snowflake to optimize data workflows and storage solutions
- Building and maintaining scalable data architectures that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify data challenges and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth
- Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and performance in data engineering practices
- Validating data quality and security measures to maintain compliance and integrity within data systems
- Encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve data engineering processes and outcomes

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating proficiency in Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Utilizing data engineering platforms like Apache Hadoop and Apache Airflow
