Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered insurance products, from intelligent agents to automation workflows and decision-support tools.
- Translate complex insurance business challenges into clear, iterative product scopes with measurable outcomes.
- Work closely with engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design and implementation to testing, release, and continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous product discovery through user interviews, stakeholder workshops, rapid prototyping, and feedback loops with insurance clients.
- Define and track product metrics that reflect meaningful business impact rather than vanity metrics.
- Actively use AI tools in daily workflows for research synthesis, user story creation, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping.
- Serve as the voice of the product in technical discussions by challenging overengineering, identifying misaligned priorities, and advocating for user needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering AI-powered or data-driven products end-to-end, ideally including LLM-based features, automation pipelines, or intelligent decision-support systems.
- Strong understanding of Agile and continuous delivery practices, including story mapping, iterative scoping, lightweight specifications, and OKRs.
- Experience within insurance, fintech, or another highly regulated, process-driven industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous product environments without requiring extensive process frameworks.
- Comfortable reviewing system designs, API contracts, and architecture diagrams—not necessarily to write code, but to participate meaningfully in technical discussions.
