Job Title: Adoption Team Manager

Pay Rate: £37.66 per hour 

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Children’s Social Worker Team Manager to join its client’s Adoption Team, based in Seaham. This exciting opportunity with Durham’s Adoption Service involves co-leading two adoption teams, driving performance and service improvements. The role includes acting as Panel Advisor and quality assuring Stage 2 adoption assessments, requiring strong expertise in adoption practice.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Work collaboratively with the other Adoption Team Manager to manage performance and lead service development.
• Act as Panel Advisor, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Quality assure Stage 2 adoption assessments to maintain high standards.
• Drive forward current developments in adoption and oversee areas such as Access to Records and Non-Agency Adoption.
• Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• Social Work England registration
• Qualified Social Worker (Degree or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in adoption
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
