Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9:00AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Our client specializes in supporting self-employed borrowers through low-doc lending solutions. With extensive experience in non-standard and complex loan scenarios, our client has developed deep expertise in this niche, allowing them to provide tailored, high-quality guidance to clients with unique financial situations.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Admin Assistant to join our client’s growing Australian mortgage team. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting mortgage brokers or loan processors who enjoys working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
As a Loan Processing Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring loan applications are accurately prepared, documented, and submitted while maintaining compliance with Australian lending requirements. You'll be responsible for managing client files, coordinating documentation, updating internal systems, and supporting the Senior Loan Processor throughout the loan journey from application through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete accurate data entry into Broker Engine and other internal systems.
- Set up new client files and maintain existing client records.
- Collect, organise, name, and index supporting documents.
- Review applications for missing information and follow up where required.
- Assist with packaging loan applications for submission to lenders.
- Prepare lender application forms and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing NCCP documents and other compliance documentation.
- Order valuations and request pricing where instructed.
- Monitor loan applications and update internal trackers.
- Liaise with clients, and other stakeholders for administrative follow-ups.
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Loan Processor and Credit Team.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Australian mortgage broking administration or loan processing (broker side).
- Basic understanding of the Australian home loan process from application through to settlement.
- Exposure to Low Doc lending is highly preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of: Home Loans, Investment home loans and Construction Loans
- Experience using Broker Engine is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong and accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a remote environment.
