Job Summary
The Accountant II - International Enterprise Accounting is responsible for applying accounting principles to assist in the preparation and processing of accounting transactions, preparing schedules to analyze information and assist in creating financial reports.
Principal Accountabilities
• Apply knowledge of accounting principles to activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports.
• Compile and analyze financial information to create/process accounting transactions, analyze business results, and develop management reports.
• Perform month/quarter/annual close activities which may include analyzing accounts, performing calculations, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, preparing reports and financial statements, and resolving issues as needed.
• Establish and maintain accurate financial records; Create financial reports and statements that summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Comply with government regulations and internal controls (e.g., SOX).
• Assist junior team members with the development and installation of accounting systems, methods, procedures and controls.
• Position may be assigned to a specific accounting function (e.g., close/process, enterprise analysis, reporting/support) and may require additional or specific job duties related to assigned function that are not aforementioned.

Knowledge & Skills
• Knowledge of general Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP) required. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) a plus.
• Demonstrate proficiency in finance and accounting relational databases (Costpoint, Cognos, HFM, and Blackline) and Microsoft applications.
• Strong analytical skills and balance multiple work assignments.
• Strong computer skills in Excel and reasonable knowledge of Access.
• Ability to perform data extraction and manipulation, analyze financial data, and generate reports.
• Ability to manipulate, interpret, and analyze data in Excel. Ability to work with numbers and complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies — Candidates should be comfortable assessing new AI-enabled tools and processes, identifying practical use cases, validating outputs, understanding limitations/risk, and incorporating AI responsibly into day-to-day work.
• Demonstrated AI fluency and workflow integration — Candidates should have experience using AI tools to enhance workflows, productivity, decision-making, customer experiences, business outcomes, or operational efficiency.
Experience & Education
• Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (B. Com, BBM, BBA / MBA, M. Com, MSc Accounting & Finance).
• Professional qualification preferred – ACCA/CMA (fully or part-qualified).
