Purpose of Position
As an Accountant within General Ledger Services, you are responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and accrual-based recording of all business transactions in the general ledger of all Awin entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate journal entries according to IFRS and local GAAP’s
- Ensure timely input for month end close/year end close, P13, audit, final check ‘s
- Provide input for external audits and tax audits
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Support with the calculation for intragroup invoices
- Analysis and posting of forecasted costs, accrual cost, accrued revenue, to determine the need to release them
- Implement new processes / policies and update existing ones
- Regularly aligning with other departments to stay updated or inform them proactively when necessary
- Perform simple short analysis for the topics in their portfolio to ensure accuracy and make corrections where needed.
Key Skills:
- 3-4+ years of working experience in a similar General Ledger and reporting role
- Knowledge in IFRS is desirable
- Good communication (verbal and written) with customer service skills and clear information sharing
- Advanced English language skills essential (B2-C1+)
- Good collaboration skills in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem -solving abilities
- You are a team player and open to learning new activities / processes
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (or other Finance related) preferred
- Strong skills in MS Excel Microsoft Dynamic D365 is a plus.
