Job Role: Account & Sales Order Management Specialist

Compensation range: $1,500-2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: They are an Australian company specializing in custom-branded apparel, uniforms, and promotional products, helping businesses bring their brands to life through high-quality, tailored solutions. By combining creative branding, reliable supplier partnerships, and seamless order management, they deliver exceptional products and service from concept to completion.

Role Overview: This is a senior-level position that sits at the intersection of account management, sales support, order management and creative branding. You will be responsible for preparing quotes and presentations, coordinating artwork proofs, managing purchase orders with suppliers, and ensuring every order moves through the pipeline accurately and on time. The role requires someone who brings both commercial acumen and a genuine feel for branding and design.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management

• Receive inbound leads and enquiries; quickly prepare quotes, presentations, and make product recommendations. 
• Answering questions or addressing concerns throughout their decision-making process.  
• Speak with customers to answer questions, gather information, and obtain feedback on broader opportunities and project dependencies.
• Record opportunities and make notes in the CRM.
• Understand the client's product and branding objectives, and make recommendations to meet their needs in line with company strategy.

Order Management

• Accurately input and manage customer orders in the company's order management system, ensuring all specifications are captured, including materials, design, quantity and delivery timelines
• Coordinate purchase orders with suppliers, tracking progress from placement through to delivery
• Manage the company job board to keep all active orders visible, on schedule and properly documented
• Work directly with clients to obtain sign-off on quotes and artwork approvals ahead of production
• Assist customers with product enquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations

Sales Support

• Prepare professional client-facing presentations and quotations
• Identify and recommend suitable products and branding methods based on client needs, budget and intended use
• Maintain and update client records in HubSpot (Enterprise Sales licence)
• Support team members with sales and order-related tasks as needed

Graphics & Artwork

• Prepare and present artwork proof designs for client review using Canva, Google Slides or Adobe Illustrator
• Brief and coordinate more complex artwork requirements where needed
• Ensure artwork files are production-ready and meet supplier specifications

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the custom-branded apparel and promotional products industry is essential, managing client orders from quotation through production and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of customisation methods, including embroidery, screen printing, heat transfers, laser engraving, and digital printing, with an understanding of their applications and limitations.
• Experience using one or more industry-specific order management/ERP platforms such as HOOPS, commonsku, Antera, FacilisGroup, MPower, SAGE, DecoNetwork, BigCommerce, or similar systems is highly valued.
• Proficiency with business and design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Canva, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Xero, and the ability to create professional artwork proofs.
• Comfortable usingAI tools such as Gemini, Midjourney, or similar platforms to improve productivity and design workflows.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to navigate multiple platforms simultaneously and manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness with a good understanding of pricing, margins, and markups.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organisational skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Experience working with Australian or other international clients is highly desirable.
