What We Want

The Aggie Honor System Office is seeking an outstanding professional dedicated to developing and implementing student developmental programs, activities, and services. This exceptional staff member will also assist the office with conflict resolution, university policies, and accountability processes. The Academic Integrity Specialist (Student Development Specialist III) will collaborate with campus partners and consult with those seeking support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and enjoy helping others.

What You Need to Know

Salary: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00/annually (Based on selected hire’s qualifications)

Essential Duties/Tasks

Consultation and Support  

  • Act as the main contact for administrative consultations, addressing topics such as conflict resolution, event planning, leadership development, risk management, university policies, and accountability processes.  

  • Coordinate consultation efforts and collaborate with campus partners seeking support. 

Risk Management  

  • Provide comprehensive event planning and risk management support for AHSO through various platforms and initiatives.  

  • Responsibilities include managing technological platforms and offering guidance to campus stakeholders. 

Honor Council Advising  

  • Offer administrative support to Honor Council such as leadership development, training and development for students, risk management activities, programming and logistics for events, recruitment and retention, evaluation of programs, adherence to policies and procedures including judicial processes, financial oversight including budgeting, marketing and communication for various constituent groups, vendor and donor relationships, student travel, technological resources, inventory management, document review, and other tasks as required by the AHSO.   

Staff Supervision  

  • Facilitate the hiring, training, supervision, and oversight of staff.  

  • Assist with the selection and supervision of graduate assistants, practicum students, and interns. 

  • Work collaboratively with Administrative Staff. 

  • Participate in organizational meetings. 

Area Operations  

  • Duties may include facilities/suite and inventory management, supporting team-wide assessment and strategic planning efforts for the area.  

  • Assist with program assessment, training, curriculum development programs, serving as support staff for programs, and stakeholder outreach. 

Administration & Outreach 

  • Maintain comprehensive files and records.    

  • Serve as a liaison with appropriate university staff and serve on committees as needed. Adhere to University policy and procedures.  

  • May attend or present at local/regional conferences and campus student organizational meetings. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Three years of related experience in student affairs or conduct work related to academic integrity, with two years of experience in higher education. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. 

  • Ability to review operational and special reports and maintain the confidentiality of student records and reports.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of operational and special reports, coordinating office records retention and resource materials.
