• Own the full P&L for your region. Lead expansion in line with group strategy, identify growth opportunities, and find creative ways to grow and retain the rider base across all 24 cities.
• Fleet & operational excellence.
• Developing and nurturing critical relationships that will grow our business (stakeholders include: unions; regulators; government officials; local communities, etc.).
• Maximize fleet availability by maintaining a real-time overview of scooter inflow/outflow. Define deployment areas, set scooter-per-spot targets, and manage logistics partners daily for battery swaps, collection, charging, and deployment. Drive zero backlog on damaged scooters together with the Head Mechanic.
• Drive rider conversion and usage by continuously updating the deployment strategy based on demand data. Monitor and reduce scooter churn by identifying risk areas and coordinating internal search efforts.
• Driving business growth and revenue through achieving operational milestones and key metrics.
• Understand city-level needs, opportunities, and regulations. Represent Bolt in the local community and media, and grow the Bolt brand across the region.
• Advocating and elevating Bolt’s brand, product, and service whilst navigating through regulatory matters and local policies within the transportation and tech industry.
• Partner with Public Policy, PR, and Marketing teams on city relations, safety initiatives, campaigns, and insurance topics. Share operational insights and process improvement ideas to strengthen the wider business.

• You have 3–5 years of experience in operations, general management, or a fast-paced commercial role — ideally in mobility, logistics, or a similarly dynamic industry.
• You are comfortable owning a P&L and making data-driven decisions — strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets are a must.
• You are a natural leader who can build teams from the ground up, set clear expectations, and inspire people to do their best work.
• You are a self-starter with a genuine ownership mentality — you set ambitious goals, act without waiting to be asked, and take full accountability for results.
• You have excellent communication skills in Polish and English, and are comfortable representing the business externally with city officials, media, and community stakeholders.
• You are curious about urban mobility, keep up with local market trends and regulations, and bring creative thinking to growing a rider base in competitive markets.
• You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.
• You are a collaborative team player who shares knowledge, supports peers, and always looks for ways to improve processes — not just within your region, but for the whole country team.

You will lead a Warsaw-based engineering team within the Box Extract organization. This team operates within the application layer, responsible for turning advanced AI capabilities (OCR and LLM-based Extract Agents) into a scalable, customer-facing product.

Who you are:

• People-first engineering leader with 2+ years of engineering management experience and strong technical background
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
• Comfortable operating across both backend and frontend concepts (full-stack awareness)
• Strong technical judgment — able to evaluate system design decisions, trade-offs, and engineering approaches
• Experience working in data-driven environments (metrics such as velocity, predictability, delivery performance)
• Skilled at building and growing teams, supporting both senior and junior engineers
• Clear, concise communicator who values transparency and proactive risk management
• Effective stakeholder manager, able to collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams (including US-based partners)
• Comfortable operating in dynamic, evolving environments with dependencies across teams
• Proficient in English

Nice to have:

• Experience in SaaS or product-driven companies

Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and grow a engineering team (5–7 engineers) in Warsaw
• Define the team’s roadmap, execution strategy, and own delivery outcomes
• Ensure strong delivery predictability, including planning, estimation, and execution
• Partner with engineers on system design and technical decisions (non-coding role)
• Develop team members through 1:1s, coaching, performance management, and hiring
• Establish a strong, collaborative, and accountable team culture
• Drive high standards in execution, quality, and scalability
• Organize team processes (stand-ups, sprint planning, technical discussions) and track progress
• Collaborate with product and partner teams to scope initiatives and align on priorities
• Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate with stakeholders across regions
• Proactively identify risks and ensure transparency in delivery
• Represent Box internally and externally
