Your Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to The Scion Group’s Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA and Industry
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset, and other property features to minimize liability
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities
• Perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in assuring all service requests are completed
• Document work performed and parts used; and submit daily upon completion, including legible notes on what was done, the supplies used, further follow-up and materials needed, date and signature of
• Promote good public relations with residents, service staff, contractors, and management through great “people” attitude and resident
• Routinely perform duties including basic appliance repair, basic carpentry, plumbing/fixture repair, painting, and basic electric & lighting to make apartments ready on a timely basis, and ensure meeting completion dates set by the Facility Manager or Supervisor.

What We Require

• High school/GED
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or intention to obtain within six months
• Clear and effective communication skills

• Valid driver’s license

Operational Details

IND6 Apartment Maintenance / Building Maintenance

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Level 1, 2 or 3

Purpose of Position:

IEM will provide training on our specific equipment and commissioning process in Ashburn, VA for approximately 4 weeks. You will be responsible for hands-on field service work at customer sites, with a focus on installation of components and subassemblies, and basic commissioning of IEM equipment primarily in data center or industrial applications. This includes, but may not be limited to:

• Attending project meetings as required, including coordination with contractors and clients.
• Installation and modification of electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies which may include: Panelboard interiors, Circuit breakers, Bus bar, Switchgear section doors and subpanels, addition of control components, Power Cabling and control wiring;
• Perform basic testing of modified assemblies (visual, ductor, etc.).
• Perform basic commissioning of switchboards, controls panels, and power products.
• Troubleshooting of electrical circuits and networking equipment.
• Coordinating with Technical Project Manager or manufacturing facilities to find solutions to product or commissioning issues identified by IEM or reported by the customer in the field, and identifying additional field resources needed for installation and replacement parts.
• Performing preventive maintenance, field installations and modifications to existing equipment
• Technical product support

Education and Experience:

• A technical degree or equivalent and 8 yrs+ of experience working in a manufacturing environment, data center or field service role with COMMISSIONING OF LV/MV ELECTRICAL SWITCHGEAR (required for Level 3 candidates).
• Must be a team player and have strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision is a must
• Ability to travel (75%). Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when needed.

• Experience with switchgear and electrical controls system. (required for Level 3)
• Military experience (Plus)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams (required for level 3)

Compensation

The hourly range for this role is $36.30 -$52.80 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications.

RES is looking for a full-time Restoration Technician preferably with some experience working in the natural resources field, based out of our Milwaukee, WI office.  

The mission: Our Techs work on a variety of projects, including green infrastructure, wetland, restoration planting and invasive plant removal/management. Work is seasonally steady and will require over 40 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required for some projects.

You will be walking long distances, and carry equipment, such as chainsaws and gas-powered brush cutters & augers or a sprayer (up to 50 lbs).

At times, you will be also required to operate UTVs, tractors, skid steers, and trucks with trailers.

This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools. CNC Maintenance & Repair Experience Highly Preferred.  

· Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment. Compiles alternative packages for purposes of retrofit, upgrade, or alternative functionality of equipment.

· Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards; creates maintenance standards and instructions for altered or new manufacturing equipment.

· Directs customer counterparts in maintenance optimization efforts, reliability, and preventative maintenance processes.

· May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.

· Conforms and complies with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes

· Documents work performed in service reports, applicable management systems, and written explanation regarding observation and collected equipment performance data. Compiles technical manuals, operations, and maintenance processes relevant to equipment upgrades and automation integrations.
