ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for an application troubleshooting analyst – an individual who can perform analysis of a given problem report and determine where the problem is, its cause, solution or recommend effective workaround where applicable.
Acting as an escalation point for client Subject Matter Experts, Product Support Analysts act as the primary point of contact for client technical teams. Through a combination of technical investigation and troubleshooting, as well as collaborating with teams across D2L, PSAs offer a world class support experience for D2L Administrators with varying degrees of technical expertise across the Enterprise, Higher Education, and K-12 segments.
Successful candidates must have strong analytical skills and be creative problem solvers. They will be able to make accurate risk assessments and demonstrate above-average attention to details and competencies. They are excellent communicators and are comfortable discussing technical issues with clients whose technical expertise may vary.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Utilize electronic communication by chat, phone, email, or assignment through case tracking system to interact with users facing technical issues, effectively identifying and documenting the problems they are encountering
- Conduct thorough research and implement appropriate solutions by referring to user guides, technical manuals, and other relevant documents
- Identify and correct improperly configured installations
- Replicate, diagnose, and resolve technical problems experienced by users, employing troubleshooting techniques to ensure prompt resolution
- Create, update, and resolve support cases within defined Service Level Objectives
- Improve product/tool design and functionality through creation of Software Defect reports and Feature Enhancement reports
- Create Support documentation, including FAQs and both internal and client-facing Knowledge-based Articles
- Participate in collaborative troubleshooting sessions to identify root causes of complex issues
- Participate in a shift rotation including weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on Eastern Time
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Fluency in English and Canadian French is required

- Wireshark, Fiddler, and other browser based diagnostic and reporting tools
- Communicate technical and complex information in verbal and written form
- Strong customer service skills
- Keen attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills

Desired Experience:

Job Summary:
The Paid Media Specialist will support our in-house paid media team, who executes digital marketing efforts across the North American, EMEA, APAC & LATAM regions. This is a hands-on paid media role where the candidate will be expected to be in platform executing and optimizing campaigns daily. This role is perfectly suited for a new starter in digital marketing who is looking to expand their knowledge and experience.
As a member of the performance marketing team, the successful candidate will be expected to help execute and optimize our various campaigns across the year, while providing recommendations to the channel strategists where applicable.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their knowledge outside of paid media by supporting the performance marketing team in ABM & SEO efforts.
The successful candidate will report to each of the channel strategists and the performance marketing director.
How Will I Make an Impact?
- Support in the creation and management of new LinkedIn Ad campaigns for the B2B market (with support and guidance from the Paid Social Manager).
- Support in the execution & optimization Paid Search (Google Ads) campaigns for the North American & International markets (with support and guidance from the Paid Media Manager).
- Support in the execution of ABM marketing display campaigns.
- Creation of landing pages for performance marketing campaigns (with support & training from web experience team).
- Partner with creative team & external freelancers to develop assets for performance marketing campaigns.
- Support in the management of external agency and/or channel partners.
- Report success metrics and provide insights & recommendations on paid search & paid social performance.
- Assist with project and resource planning where required.
- Work with web, SEO & content team to feedback keyword insights & findings.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing tactics & channels.
- Knowledge of Paid Search and/or Paid Social channels (Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads).
- Experience working in SaaS and/or B2B verticals is preferred.
- Experience with tracking technologies including Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics is preferred but not required.
- Ability to create positive external relationships and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Your efforts will build on our strong foundation of innovation, helping the organization leverage AI opportunities while exploring its limits and understanding associated challenges. What you’ll bring to the role:
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions and collaboration, including the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience built on a body of work demonstrating a consistent ability to complete technically challenging projects, particularly those involving AI and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience in building applications delivering real value to users with large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama) and/or AI agents, including their integration into enterprise software platforms.
- An alignment to AI ethics and AI practices to ensure the things you build will not only deliver value to users but not do so at the expense of others.
- Strong collaboration skills that will allow you to work with product management, product design, and key stakeholders to deliver meaningful and aligned results.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and best practices for AI model deployment and maintenance.
Expected Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in applying strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges and devising innovative solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, especially in developing highly scalable, cloud-based platforms or applications.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and their associated best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AI ethics and responsible AI practices and an understanding of the ethical considerations and best practices in AI development and deployment.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to increase delivery quality and velocity.
- Experience with security principles and practices in software development, particularly in the context of AI and cloud-based applications.
- Demonstrated experience in working with large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama) and applying advanced prompt engineering techniques to optimize model performance and outputs. This includes crafting effective prompts (including the use of techniques like chain of thought and retrieval augmented generation), fine-tuning models, and integrating LLMs into enterprise applications to deliver impactful solutions.
- Understanding of agent-based systems, including multi-agent systems and AI agents. This includes knowledge of agent architectures, communication protocols, and the ability to conceptualize and implement agents that can autonomously perform tasks and interact with other agents.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated experience with working with an agile team, leveraging appropriate tools to facilitate communication and collaboration (Git, Jira, Slack, etc.)
- Familiarity with data preprocessing, ETL processes, and data pipeline management is beneficial but not a requirement.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities in the education technology sector, whether in K-12, higher education, or corporate training environments, is beneficial but not a requirement.
