Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Experience:
- Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of your results and actively work to grow your contribution to the store’s overall sales.
- Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience to every customer who walks through our doors. Connect with customers and identify their needs by listening attentively and asking open-ended questions. Show off our amazing products by demonstrating their unique benefits and features. Seek opportunities to make customers' day and leave the world Lusher than we found it.
- Building the Brand: Educate customers on our brand values including our stance on Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Expertly articulate these values in the shop and through community engagement by hosting store parties and other initiatives that help bring in more traffic. Spread the word about what makes Lush unique, and inspire others to join us in making a positive impact on the world!
- Product Passion: Continually expand your product knowledge with ongoing learning and diving deep into all things Lush. Stay up-to-date on our products, ingredients, and unique benefits to confidently and consistently make informed product recommendations for every customer's needs.
Team Involvement:
- Development: Utilize Lush resources to develop effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve your performance, support the growth of your team, and increase sales. Take ownership of your development, assess your performance, and actively seek feedback, resources, and opportunities to improve and elevate your skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Encourage open communication and actively listen to team members’ perspectives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). Foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork, encouraging collaboration, and recognizing and valuing each employee's unique contributions.
Operational Excellence:
- Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present at work. Actively participate in teamwork, prioritize your wellbeing by taking breaks when necessary, and keep up-to-date with company news and updates.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer's shopping experience and drive sales.
- Stock and Inventory: Utilize Visual Merchandising guidelines to make real-time adjustments to product displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
- Policies and Procedures: Ensure you are practicing company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates under the age of 18 who are selected will be employed on a contract basis through the Lush Youth Employment Program, in line with local employment and labour regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise in day-to-day operations
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics
- Experience in cross cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

The Role
Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in New Zealand was established through the acquisition of PwC New Zealand’s Business Restructuring team. The Teneo New Zealand team currently comprises 24 professionals and is expected to continue growing as the business expands. With deep restructuring and insolvency expertise, and an established presence in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, the team delivers integrated, senior-led financial advisory services to clients across New Zealand and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
This is your opportunity to join our growing and ambitious team in New Zealand, part of Teneo’s global integrated advisory offering.
As a Senior Consultant / Manager you will support the leadership team with:
- Client Service – Be a part of project teams on a diverse range of challenging engagements – this will involve advising corporates, creditors and other financial stakeholders on Restructuring Advisory, Contingency Planning and Insolvency projects.
- Business Development – Support business development activities and generating sales in the market.
- People and Leadership – Provide guidance and support to team members to create an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service
- Is a key team member working on financial restructuring and insolvency engagements on a day-to-day basis, including managing junior staff.
- Produces high quality deliverables within planned timescales.
- Develops ‘distinctive’ client relationships.
- Supports and contributes to client presentations.
- Helps to meet team specific performance targets.
- Applies understanding of financial engagement economics and engagement risk and quality management.
Knowledge Acquisition
- Builds client relationship skills, sector knowledge and continues to develop leadership skills.
- Continues to build technical expertise, broader business advisory and people management skills.
- Understands the market, topical issues and our Restructuring propositions.
People and Leadership
- Supports leadership in creating an inclusive environment.
- Proactively supports the development of colleagues by providing timely feedback and identifying development opportunities e.g. mentoring/ buddying, supervising less experienced colleagues.
- Continues to develop personal brand.
Business Development
- Starts to own elements of and proactively contribute to business development.
- Demonstrate an expanding network of external and internal peer level contacts which provide opportunities to meet and share ideas on initiatives.
- Assist in the running of a sector or marketing key account team, including participating in, and organising, marketing events.
- Assists in preparing research documents, pitches and client presentations.
Key Skills & Experience
Basic Qualifications
- Strong academic background at degree level.
- Qualified CA, or committed to completing the CA program
- Analytical with strong IT skills e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook packages.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Restructuring Services/Insolvency or strong transferrable skills gained in a client facing role within a professional services company (e.g., corporate audit).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support working in a high-performance team.
- Commitment and willingness to work under pressure, sometimes long hours, always putting the client at the centre.
- Ambition to learn and develop further.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct relevant experience of Restructuring Services/Insolvency gained within a professional services company or a Financial Advisory boutique.
- Flexibility to transfer skills into complementary offerings such as Debt Advisory or Performance Improvement if market conditions change.
