The job
Join our Health, Localisation, and Internationalisation team as a Senior Product Analyst. You will focus on scaling our reach into new territories and optimizing the product journey to ensure it resonates with users in every region.
You'll be responsible for:
- Working closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Designers, and Engineers to support data-driven decision-making across the product.
- Identifying new growth opportunities, including underserved user segments, use cases, and regions with high potential for product expansion.
- Helping the team understand which company-level goals can be influenced through experimentation, defining relevant proxy metrics, and monitoring them over time.
- Supporting hypothesis formulation and prioritization using data: estimating segment sizes, potential impact, expected uplift, and defining clear success metrics, while accounting for user behavior patterns.
- Helping the team prioritize ideas and initiatives based on expected impact, confidence level, and effort.
- Participating in product planning and roadmap discussions, providing analytical input to shape priorities and investment decisions.
- Evaluating experiment results in terms of their overall impact on core product metrics, not just local effects.
- Translating analysis results into clear, actionable recommendations for the team and stakeholders.
Your Experience
Must have:
- At least 5+ years of work experience as a Data/ Product Analyst;
- Experience with A/B testing, knowledge of statistics for A/B testing;
- Advanced SQL/Python / R for data analysis;
- Experience in data visualization in Python/ Looker /Tableau or similar.
Nice to have:
- Experience in subscription business;

Head of Data is the architect of our data culture, ensuring that while analysts sit within different business units, they operate with a common language, world-class tools, and uncompromised data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Unified Data Strategy: Define and execute a global data roadmap that aligns with company-wide OKRs.
- Standardization: Define universal metrics (e.g., "Active User," "Revenue") to ensure a single source of truth across all departments.
- Data Governance: Set policies for data privacy, security, and compliance (GDPR) without bottlenecking the speed of the product teams.
Platform & Infrastructure
- Modern Data Stack: Own the selection and maintenance of our data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake/Redshift), transformation layers (dbt), and BI tools (Looker/Tableau).
- Data Engineering Oversight: Lead the core data engineering efforts to ensure a robust ETL/ELT pipeline that serves the decentralized "spokes."
- Self-Service Enablement: Build the infrastructure that allows non-technical stakeholders to access insights without needing an analyst for every query.
Functional Excellence & Community
- The Data Guild: Create and lead a "Data Guild" or "Community of Practice" to facilitate knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and mentorship among embedded analysts.
- Talent Bar: Define the hiring standards, leveling rubrics, and career paths for all data roles across the company.
- Best Practices: Drive the adoption of version control (Git), documentation, and automated testing (Data Quality) within the analytic workflows.

Wargaming is looking for a proactive, excited and determined Senior Game Data Analyst to strengthen the World of Tanks product analytics team.
We collect all kinds of information about the player behavior and the events in the ‘WoT universe’: from economic, financial and detailed combat data to the precise coordinates of each shot and tank movement, interface telemetry and many others. All of them are routed to a singular database and are available for analysis 24/7.
You will be working with the WoT Product Team responsible for decision-making process, with the Data Warehouse team responsible for data storage, reports system and our infrastructure, as well as 60 analytics all over the world united under Wargaming Global Analyst Network.
What will you do?

Helping deliver important analytical insights to managers and other product teams necessary for decision-making

Use quantitative analysis to understand how the game is played and identify impact and growth opportunities

Participating in analytical maintenance for features, game events and modes throughout all development and release stages:

Pre-Production Analytics: modeling likely outcomes and risks from implementing new features, game modes and events into the game; predict the future events, product KPIs and metrics; providing analysis of their full development cycle (from concept to release)

Job Overview
We are looking for someone with a passion for both data analysis and gaming industry, to work on one of the most popular mobile tank games - World of Tanks Blitz.
For over 11 years, we have been developing our product based on data and insights obtained from them. Following this approach, you will work closely with product managers, game designers, and developers to continue improving our product. You will be working on developing new telemetry, preparing data marts, developing dashboards, conducting various statistical researches and A/B tests.
Reports to
What will you do?
- Design telemetry for new features.
- Validate data for inconsistencies and outliers.
- Automate data transformations and aggregations for reports and dashboards.
- Develop clear and readable dashboards.
- Dive into the product to collaborate on hypothesis formation with product stakeholders.
- Present the results of your work and promote the data-driven approach at all levels of decision-making.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years experience on a similar position.
- Hands-on experience working with BigQuery, Snowflake, and Tableau
- Clear understanding of the role and impact of analytics in gaming products.
- Excellent knowledge of statistics and probability theory, experience in applying methods from these sciences in practice.
- SQL is your second language...
- ... and Python is the third one.
- Ability to describe complex processes and events in the form of diagrams and charts in a clear and understanding way.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, clearly convey your thoughts, and present yourself and the results of your work.
Work mode
- Hybrid (3 days of work from the office)
- This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.
