We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.
Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high-throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka (for millions of events) and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals, including 80+ engineers. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Many of our developers bring 5 - 10+ years of experience, and we foster a culture of deep technical curiosity and knowledge sharing.

About the Role
You will join a small team responsible for the stability, performance, and security of our server infrastructure: bare metal, VMs, databases, queues, networking, and infrastructure security. Our philosophy is simple: the team owns its systems end-to-end, and every engineer should be able to diagnose and fix issues in their area of responsibility.
This role is for someone who enjoys working with real infrastructure (OS, hardware/virtualization, networks), not just cloud abstractions.
What You'll Do
- Work primarily with on‑premise infrastructure (bare metal and VMs): setup, maintenance, troubleshooting
- Drive clarity in ambiguous situations by defining requirements, assumptions, and next steps
- Own automation projects end‑to‑end (design → rollout → maintenance)
- Improve how we operate: harden and tune systems and also improve the way the team works in terms of operational hygiene
- Keep the platform stable, fast, and secure: servers, web servers, databases, queues
- Investigate production incidents across OS / networking / infrastructure layers, apply temporary mitigations, coordinate with developers and participate in post‑mortems
- Participate in on‑call rotations
- Use AI in all aspects of day‑to‑day work: researching, troubleshooting, developing
Requirements
- 4+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE (or very close responsibilities)
- Real, hands-on experience with servers (VMs, bare metal) at the OS level and below: configuring, troubleshooting, digging into “why it’s broken”
- Confident Linux skills (we use Ubuntu). We expect you to be comfortable with the core tools from Linux Crisis Tools
- Solid understanding of networking basics; ability to configure and troubleshoot iptables
- Ansible + Git
- Experience with Bash or Python scripting for automation/observability
- Production/on‑call experience: diagnosing incidents, restoring service, participating in post‑mortems
- Ownership and attention to detail. Downtime is expensive: five years ago, 10 minutes of downtime cost us $100k — today it’s even more
Nice to Have
We understand it’s impossible to be an expert in everything, but it’s important to have solid hands-on experience in two or more of the areas below:
- ClickHouse, MongoDB: what each database is used for, monitoring, troubleshooting performance and slow queries, sharding
- Kafka: operating clusters at scale (topic moves, broker replacements, tuning)
- Redis: high‑load tuning, replication, sharding, performance monitoring
- Elasticsearch: configuration, scaling, sharding/cluster management
- HAProxy / Nginx: load balancing, SSL/TLS, caching, reverse proxying, performance monitoring
- OS tuning: kernel/network stack/filesystem parameters for high‑load systems
- Full Disk Encryption on LVM: We use Clevis + Tang in production

About the Role
We're looking for an ML Engineer with 5+ years of production experience to own a high-impact client intelligence initiative. Following a successful proof-of-concept with an external consultant, we are bringing this project fully in-house. The ultimate goal is to generate a comprehensive, enriched list of all potential clients globally — understanding their product requirements, industry verticals, and overall revenue potential — and deploy a scoring model that feeds directly into our sales pipeline.
This is an end-to-end ownership role. You will build from the ground up: data collection, enrichment, modeling, and production deployment. The project is co-managed by company executives and has a high strategic value.
What You’ll Do
- Build a market intelligence data-base via collecting different types of data (scraping, enrichment), fixing data pipeline and creating an ML model for scoring and analysis of the raw data.
- Design and operate scrapers to extract key signals from nonprofit websites, including products used, payment tools, and industry vertical indicators.
- Develop critical filters such as an "Is this website for fundraising?" binary classifier, alongside other features that distinguish high-potential prospects.
- Source and integrate financial data from international nonprofit registries, as well as third-party signals from SimilarWeb and Facebook.
- Store and structure the enriched dataset in our internal database, making it accessible and useful across the broader team for research and analysis.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand their qualification criteria. Analyze disqualified accounts in Salesforce to identify common exclusion patterns and refine scoring accordingly.
- Deploy the scoring model and own the process of integrating outputs into Salesforce in a clean, maintainable way.
- Build a scraper to monitor existing clients' websites, tracking whether Fundraise Up tools are correctly implemented across their properties.
Challenges You'll Navigate
- At the scale of ~1 million domains, expect domain duplicates, inconsistent data, and significant noise. You'll need to develop robust, cost-efficient filtering pipelines.
- A single model won't cover everything — you'll likely build several targeted sub-models tailored to specific verticals and geographies as the project matures.
- All of this needs to be accomplished without incurring high infrastructure or data costs. Pragmatic, scrappy solutions are valued here.
Requirements
- 5+ years of ML/DS experience solving real product problems
- Strong expertise in ML and mathematical statistics: solid knowledge of classical algorithms (especially gradient boosting) and understanding of modern NLP/LLM approaches
- Proven experience with large-scale web scraping and data pipeline construction
- Metrics-driven mindset: ability to connect ML metrics (ROC-AUC, F1, RMSE) with business metrics (conversion rate, LTV)
- Strong engineering culture: confident in Python with a product-oriented approach; we value clean code, knowledge of design patterns, and solid engineering practices
- Advanced SQL; ability to independently build complex datasets in ClickHouse and work with MongoDB
- MLOps understanding: hands-on experience with experiment tracking and production workflows (Docker, Git, CI/CD)

About this role:
You are a hands-on engineer who builds the software and processes that keep a large fleet of GPU servers healthy and productive. You write systems and tooling for managing 1000s of servers including provisioning, health monitoring, error detection, and recovery — and when something breaks that automation can’t fix, you drive resolution with partners.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python fleet tracking system that manages the full lifecycle of servers including contracting and procurement, target use, pricing, availability, health, RMAs, etc
- Build server management tooling that automates provisioning, health checks, GPU diagnostics, recovery and alerting
- Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and alerting for hardware health across the fleet (GPU errors, disk failures, network issues, thermals)
- Leverage AI to an extreme level to build tools and automate alerting and recovery
- Implement and enforce OS-level security: hardening baselines, SELinux/AppArmor policies, SSH key management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation
- Manage and optimize distributed and local storage systems supporting model weights, checkpoints, and ephemeral scratch: NVMe arrays, NFS, parallel file systems, and object storage
- Tune Linux systems for AI workloads: kernel parameters, NUMA topology, CPU pinning, hugepages, I/O schedulers, and GPU driver stack optimization (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, container runtimes)
- Develop a suite of automated error detection and recovery processes
- Work with partners to solve technical issues
Requirements
- 3+ years experience managing bare-metal and cloud based server fleets at scale (100+ nodes)
- Strong software engineering skills in Python; you write production tooling, not scripts
- Deep Linux systems knowledge: boot process, kernel tuning, networking, storage, systemd, cgroups, namespaces, performance profiling
- Strong experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code: Ansible, Terraform, cloud-init

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to help strengthen Sezzle’s security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work on real-world security problems at scale.
As a Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer, you will have a high degree of ownership and autonomy to identify risks, investigate issues, and drive meaningful security improvements across our systems. You will work across vulnerability management, detection engineering, supply chain security, and incident response - partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure security is practical, effective, and embedded into how we build and operate systems. You should consider yourself a DOer - someone who is comfortable diving into logs, analyzing systems, validating findings, and working end-to-end to get issues resolved. This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale security capabilities, including detection systems, supply chain risk controls, and security automation. - Experience contributing to threat modeling and security design reviews for modern systems
- Strong hands-on experience in vulnerability management, including scanning, triage, validation, remediation coordination, and verification
- Experience working with SIEM platforms (e.g., Wazuh, Splunk, ELK) for detection engineering, monitoring, and incident response
