President, Re:Build Thermoplastic Composites
Thermoplastic composites offer distinct advantages over other materials, including cost, weight, durability, and performance. Re:Build possesses an innovative manufacturing process for cost effectively forming complex parts from thermoplastic composites, which can displace substantially more expensive thermoset composite or metallic parts in a wide range of applications. Today, Re:Build’s thermoplastic composites business has operations in Denver, CO and Cleveland, OH, and a dedicated R&D operation to support technology development for applications and production equipment. Today the business has ~$10MM in annual revenue. We have the technical acumen, cost position, and capital to grow the business to $100MM+. We’ve identified the first market opportunities to begin that journey, but more are needed. We’re seeking a leader to identify further opportunities, codify our processes, drive development of reference designs, oversee and coach our operational team, and engage large target markets in a coordinated way.
Who is Re:Build Manufacturing?
Re:Build Manufacturing, LLC is a growing family of industrial and engineering businesses combining enabling technologies, operational superiority, and strategic M&A to build America’s next generation industrial company. Based in Denver, CO and reporting to our CEO, as President you will lead the business to significant growth in scale, product and customer mix, facilities footprint, and team members.
The ideal candidate brings experience leading the adoption of new manufacturing processes and services through shaping market strategies and leading the efforts of teams in R&D, technical development, engineering, and production to build strong customer engagements. They will understand what it takes to successfully define sizeable market segments that align with our technology, develop and deliver demonstration parts in target markets, and drive commercial engagement with customers with similar requirements.
