We own the technical relationships between Agoda and our accommodation partners and hotel chains, independent properties, and the channel manager platforms that connect them to us. Our work sits at the intersection of commercial, product, and technology, and the decisions we make have a direct impact on the inventory and booking experience available to millions of travelers.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Connectivity Manager to join our team in Toronto and take ownership of our channel manager partnerships across North America. Channel managers are the platforms that help accommodation providers distribute their inventory across booking sites. This role is about building and deepening those relationships, improving how our partners connect with us technically, and growing the number of properties we can offer to travelers through this channel. You will work closely with partners, internal commercial teams, and product and technology teams to make all of this happen.

Role Overview
As the VP of Finance, you will be the primary architect of financial transformation for a premier North American luxury travel host agency. This is a high-visibility, hands-on executive role designed for a leader who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence and commercial strategy.
You will lead our finance division to ensure that as we scale, our processes remain disciplined, our reporting stays surgical, and our insights drive the bottom line.
Key Pillars of Responsibility
1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Integrity
• Operational Discipline: Design and implement a "gold standard" of internal controls, ensuring all financial activities and reporting are produced with absolute precision.
• Performance Engineering: Lead the annual budget cycle and drive rigorous monthly performance-versus-budget analysis, providing the executive team with the "why" behind the numbers.
• Audit & Compliance: Direct the year-end audit process and ensure total adherence to North American regulatory standards and complex FX translation requirements.
2. Commercial Architecture & Revenue Assurance
• Supplier Contract Expertise: Master the commercial components of travel supplier contracts, specifically focusing on complex commission tiers, overrides, and global incentive structures.
• Revenue Optimization: Ensure the seamless invoicing, receipt, and reconciliation of compensation from global supplier partners, eliminating revenue leakage.
• Forecasting: Develop predictive models to track and forecast performance against supplier contracts, ensuring the agency maximizes every incentive opportunity.
3. Systems, Automation & Data Insights
• Digital Transformation: Actively lead ERP system implementations and ensure seamless interconnectivity between front-end travel booking tools and back-end accounting.
• Process Innovation: Take a hands-on approach to developing automated workflows that replace manual reconciliations with scalable, tech-driven solutions.
• KPI Development: Build advanced BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) that track customer-centric KPIs and traveler-experience metrics.
