About the Role
Cloudflare’s Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) operate at the intersection of product engineering and customer impact.
As an FDE, you will be embedded within one of Cloudflare’s most strategic global customers, working side-by-side with their engineering teams to build and deploy solutions using Cloudflare’s platform. Unlike traditional Solutions Architects or consultants, you will write production code, shape technical architecture, and directly influence how Cloudflare products are used at massive scale.
You will operate as a technical extension of both organizations - helping the customer ship faster while surfacing real-world product insights back to Cloudflare engineering.

Responsibilities
- Deep Technical Embedding: Serve as the dedicated, long-term technical partner within a strategic customer’s engineering organization, operating as a trusted extension of their team.
- Production-Level Engineering: Design, build, and deploy production-ready code and configurations directly into customer infrastructure using the Cloudflare platform.
- Technical Accountability: Own the account's technical success across the entire Cloudflare portfolio. Serve as the primary technical point of contact, with other Cloudflare technical resources taking direction from your technical strategy for the account.
- Operational Integration: Participate in customer engineering rituals, including daily standups, design reviews, and real-time incident response.
- Platform Advocacy & Adoption: Identify opportunities to accelerate the adoption of Cloudflare services, unlocking new capabilities across the customer’s tech stack.
- Platform Breadth & Depth: Deep technical competence in building production applications on a modern stack, combined with the willingness and ability to go deep on all Cloudflare product areas. From Workers to security, networking, and observability.
- Feedback Loop & Product Influence: Surface real-world edge cases and product gaps directly to Cloudflare’s Product and Engineering teams to influence the developer platform roadmap.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Establish and maintain trusted technical relationships with senior leadership (Staff+ engineers, Directors, and VPs).
- On-Site Presence: Maintain a regular on-site presence at customer locations to foster deep collaboration and cultural alignment.
Requirements
- Proven Engineering Pedigree: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. You are a builder at heart, with a track record of delivering production-grade systems, not just advising on them.
- Production Ownership & Operational Maturity: You have owned mission-critical services with real-world users. You understand the gravity of on-call rotations, the urgency of incident response, and the architectural rigor required to maintain "five nines" uptime.
- Active Practitioner: You are currently in the IDE. You have a "ship-first" mentality and maintain a high velocity, staying current with modern frameworks, languages, and deployment patterns.
- Full-Stack Architectural Depth: Broad technical fluency across the entire stack—from frontend performance and backend logic to database optimization and distributed infrastructure.
- AI-Native Development: You have integrated AI-augmented workflows (e.g., Windsurf, OpenCode) into your daily development cycle to accelerate prototyping and delivery.
- Systems Design & Strategic Thinking: Ability to decompose complex business requirements into scalable, resilient technical architectures. You can visualize the "big picture" without losing sight of the implementation details.
- Cloud Ecosystem Fluency: Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including an understanding of serverless, networking, and security primitives.
- High Agency & Navigating Ambiguity: You are a self-starter who thrives in "zero-to-one" environments. You don't wait for a ticket; you identify the problem and own the solution from end-to-end.
- Executive Presence: Comfortable engaging in high-stakes technical and strategic discussions with VP-level stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex engineering trade-offs into business impact.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Courier Group, Compliance Team. The Courier Group builds products that power the end-to-end courier experience and logistics at Wolt, from onboarding to earnings, engagement, task assignment, and compliance. The group spans multiple product teams working together to ensure that couriers can start, operate, and grow on Wolt safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations.
The Compliance Team ensures that Wolt’s courier platform operates within the boundaries of diverse regulatory environments, while maintaining a simple and trusted experience for couriers, third-party service providers, and internal teams. This includes identity verification, document management, classification, privacy safeguards, and scalable compliance automation.
What You’ll Do
As the Product Manager for Compliance, you’ll work with a cross-functional team of exceptional engineers, designers, analysts, and product people in a high-impact, high-visibility role. You’ll define the vision and roadmap for courier compliance at Wolt, balancing business scalability, user trust, and regulatory integrity. You’ll connect with country teams to understand local regulatory requirements and cultural nuances, collaborate with legal and operations partners, and align with other product teams to make sure compliance flows are seamlessly embedded across the courier lifecycle.
Your work will include leading multiple projects and cross-team initiatives across the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. You’ll partner with Legal, Operations, and Policy teams to design compliance systems that are both locally adaptive and globally scalable. You’ll ensure that product experiences for different courier models remain clearly distinct and compliant, while driving automation and efficiency in ID verification, document management, and audit workflows. A key part of your role will be developing a deep understanding of couriers, regulators, and internal users, enabling you to build solutions that make compliance seamless and effortless for everyone involved.

Compensation & Rewards:
In Ireland, the base compensation range for this role is EUR 104,000 - EUR 124,800. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. The Opportunity:
Grafana is building the Interactive Learning Plugin: an open source, in-product learning experience inside Grafana that helps users level up without leaving their workflow. We’re hiring a software engineer embedded in Developer Advocacy who ships real product code that directly impacts both Grafana Cloud and Grafana OSS.
This is for an engineer who moves fast with strong judgment, is excited about AI-assisted development in open source, and wants to help build a platform where anyone can contribute high-quality learning content—not just engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build delightful interactive learning inside Grafana
- Ship features that make learning experiences feel obvious, smooth, and scalable.
- Improve the end-to-end learner experience—from onboarding to completion.
- Enable contribution and authoring (especially for non-engineers): create workflows and product features that let many contributors safely create, iterate on, and improve learning content.
- Support private guides and experiences
- Make completion tracking that actually matters
- Build progress and completion tracking that’s trustworthy, motivating, and useful.
- Instrument learning flows so we can understand what’s working, what’s failing, and where learners get stuck.
- Treat observability as a product principle
- Build fast feedback loops (metrics/logs/traces + user journey visibility) so issues stay shallow.
- Make it easy to understand what’s happening in production and in real user experiences.
- Ship fast with an AI-driven development workflow
- Work daily with tools like Claude Code or Cursor in an agent-based workflow.
- Apply strong engineering judgment—scoping, iterating, verifying, and testing—so speed doesn’t compromise quality.
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction.
We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always paired with strong code review and quality standards.
You’ll also have access to frontier models (e.g., GPT-Codex 5/3, Claude Opus 4.6, Gemini 3 Pro).
This role includes participation in an on-call rotation as part of our DevOps culture. We believe in end-to-end ownership—those who build the software also help run and support it in production.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
We know it’s rare to find everything. You should be strong in at least two of the three areas below:
- AI harness experience (agentic development)
- You’ve used tools like Claude Code or Cursor in real development work (daily or close to it).
- You can describe your workflow (scoping → iterate → validate → test) and how you manage risks like security and correctness.
- Serious software engineering fundamentals
- You can ship production-grade changes and explain tradeoffs.
- You care about architecture, maintainability, correctness, and raising the quality bar (not “vibe coding” alone).
- Grafana context
- You’ve used Grafana in real environments—dashboards, troubleshooting, on-call, or monitoring workflows.
- You understand observability practices and how Grafana fits into them.
You’ll also do a small but meaningful amount of communication work (~20%) which will include writing clear docs, design notes, and PR descriptions, as well as occasionally demo work or explaining decisions to internal/external audiences.
Bonus Points For:
- Meaningful open source contribution or maintainer experience
- Full-stack experience (strong frontend-only or backend-only profiles are also welcome)
- TypeScript and/or Go
- Kubernetes familiarity
