The role  

Valtech is looking for a Senior Mobile App Developer with 6+ years of experience, who is confident developing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

This role is for someone who takes mobile development seriously—not just individual platforms, but the craft of building high‑quality mobile products as a whole. You care deeply about performance, architecture and long‑term maintainability, and you have strong opinions on how mobile apps should be built, backed by hands‑on experience across platforms. You are comfortable using AI‑powered tools responsibly to support development, improve code quality, and increase efficiency across the mobile development lifecycle.

We are looking for a senior app developer who drives work proactively, collaborates closely with clients, product, and design teams, and confidently owns technical decisions across both iOS and Android. 

We are first and foremost looking for a senior native app developer. In addition, we highly value T‑shaped profiles who bring depth in app development combined with strength or interest in adjacent areas.

Are you a Frontend Software Engineer with a keen interest in everything Web3 and how this can be applied to iGaming? Then this is the role for you! We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us in the beginning of our journey to bring new and innovative iGaming products and brands to the market, leveraging the exciting possibilities provided by Web3 concepts and technologies. 

About the Team

You'll be joining a new team at the start of an ambitious journey - bringing innovative iGaming products and brands to market by leveraging the possibilities opened up by Web3 technologies. This is greenfield work: small team, big ambitions, real users. 

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship user-facing features across our Web3 iGaming products, working from concept through to production. 

• Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate ambiguous problems into clear, high-quality user experiences. 

• Participate in the full development lifecycle - sprint planning, estimation, code review, testing, deployment, and post-launch iteration. 

• Help establish the engineering patterns, tooling, and conventions that a growing team will rely on. 

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer. 

• Strong command of TypeScript and JavaScript, and comfort working in at least one major framework (React, Vue, or Angular). 

• Solid fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and a preprocessor like Sass or LESS. 

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and reasoning about client–server contracts. 

• A track record of writing meaningful unit and integration tests (Playwright, Jest or similar). 

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript tooling and bundlers (Vite, Rollup, etc.). 
  
  
• An eye for performance and an instinct for what makes a web application feel scalable rather than just work at scale.

Role Overview

 We’re looking for a Fullstack Developer with a strong front-end focus to help us continue to build and innovate our market-leading sports trading tool.

This role sits at the intersection of product, trading expertise, and platform engineering. You’ll work closely with our Product Owner, sports trading experts, and platform team to design and deliver intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for complex, real-time trading workflows.

Your primary focus will be front-end development using React, supported by Node.js and Python services. You’ll also collaborate closely with teams building backend services written in Python and Rust, all deployed on AWS with a strong preference for serverless architectures.

If you enjoy turning complex, data-heavy systems into elegant user experiences — and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment — this role is for you.

 What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications using React and MUI X, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and reliability.
• Build and maintain front-end–facing services using Node.js and Python.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and sports trading experts to translate complex domain requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Work alongside backend engineers developing services in Python and Rust to integrate real-time data and trading logic.
• Contribute to cloud-native solutions on AWS, with a preference for serverless designs.
• Participate in architectural discussions across the full stack and help shape front-end standards and best practices.
• Improve developer experience through testing, CI/CD, and shared tooling.
• Continuously evolve the sports trading platform as product and business needs grow.

What we believe you have

• Strong experience building front-end applications with React (experience with MUI / MUI X or similar libraries is a big plus).
• Solid understanding of fullstack development, including APIs and service integration.
• Experience with Node.js and Python in a production environment.
• Exposure to or interest in backend systems written in Python and/or Rust.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-native architectures (serverless experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as automated testing, CI/CD, and version control.
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working closely with product managers and domain experts.
