About the Role
Verkada is seeking Solutions Engineers to own and enhance the customer experience, from the proof-of-concept to the final decision. This technical individual will provide pre-sales engineering support to our sales team, be a trusted advisor to our customers/partners, and play a critical role in designing technical solutions. We are looking for individuals who can match our fast paced environment and learn quickly! You will join a team of highly motivated SEs delivering impactful results for the company using the latest cutting edge technology.
What You'll Do
- Be the trusted technical advisor to key customer stakeholders: CTOs, CISOs, IT Executives, Security Engineers, Network Engineers, Head of Physical Security, etc
- Utilize your technical expertise to understand and navigate customer requirements
- Collaborate with the Sales team to assess and qualify customer opportunities, and contribute to the design of effective technical solutions
- Lead product demonstrations and deliver engaging presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as the Verkada technical Subject Matter Expert, collaborating closely with other departments such as Product, Support, Marketing, and Enablement
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, IT Security, Computer Engineering or related degree from an accredited university
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs and L2 devices
- Exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities
- Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Experience working with IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, APIs, Python, and other coding languages preferred
- Industry certifications are a plus: Network +, Security+, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.
- This role requires that you be on-site 5 days a week, with occasional travel

Annual Pay Range

A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).

This is a field sales opportunity within the St. Petersburg, FL territory. Candidates MUST live locally to this area.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling, door-to-door sales (25+ daily), and additional outreach to meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Develop and grow a robust pipeline, scheduling in-person meetings with decision-makers and advancing sales through the process.
- Build lasting relationships with new leads and existing customers, ensuring high engagement and awareness of new product offerings.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals, including cold calls, in-person meetings, presentations, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as account managers and revenue operations, to ensure both individual and company-wide goals are met.
- Maintain comprehensive sales records and follow-up activity in our CRM system (Salesforce).
Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven success in outside sales, preferably with experience with high volume sales in financial services, marketing, restaurant or related industry.
- Prospector mentality with a persistent, self-motivated approach to new business development in a field sales environment.
- Strong financial acumen, with the aptitude to confidently discuss fees, acceptance, and financials with customers.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, with the aptitude to present to prospective customers and influence meetings.
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, and familiarity with MS Office/Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Job summary
DigiCert is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategies for our SMB-focused cybersecurity SaaS products. You’ll be joining a small, agile team operating within a larger brand—expect to wear multiple hats, get hands on with the products, and have real ownership over your work.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days/week in-office (lunch provided), with the flexibility and encouragement to come in more often as your schedule allows.
This role is a good fit for marketers who have:
- Strong aptitude for working with technical products and technical audiences (web hosting, cybersecurity, web development, etc.)
- Ability to build deep product/customer/market knowledge and translate that into compelling positioning and messaging.
- Experience driving revenue/growth through digital marketing channels such as conversion rate optimization (CRO), upselling/cross-selling, email marketing/automation, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and digital advertising (PPC).
What you will do
- Build a deep understanding of our products, the problems they solve, how customers use them, and how they compare to competing products.
- Plan marketing campaigns/tactics to achieve our current goals (eg. SaaS signups).
- Work with our creative resources (in-house and freelance) to create stand-out marketing campaigns with clear, compelling messages and engaging visuals.
- Launch, manage, and iterate marketing campaigns to efficiently achieve their KPIs.
- Use analytics to measure and optimize key metrics, including conversion rate, free-trial upgrade rate, retention rate, CLV, etc.
- Work together to test and iterate new tactics to continue meeting our goals in a new world of zero-click searches, generative AI, and link-free social media feeds.
What you will have
- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with an emphasis on driving measurable revenue.
- Experience working in website technology (web hosting, web development, etc.) and/or cybersecurity—able to understand, use, and converse fluently about products in the space.
- Relevant education (for example: bachelor’s degree in marketing; industry certifications such as CXL, Hubspot, MECLABS Institute, DigitalMarketer; or other relevant professional certifications or education).
- Experience working with several digital marketing channels such as email, SEM, digital advertising, ABM, SEO, etc.
- Proven ability to develop and communicate marketing messages that drive conversions (product positioning, copywriting, value proposition development, etc.)
- Experienced working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, etc.
- Proven ability to learn technical topics and understand/communicate with highly technical audiences.
