We are looking for an experienced, customer-centric Head of Service to join our team and help repower industrial heat at scale. This role will have a significant impact in ensuring customer satisfaction in the commissioning and operations of the Rondo Heat Batteries supplied to our industrial clients, as well as identifying opportunities for product improvement and potential new market niches.

As Performance Engineer, you will directly support operations of the Rondo Heat Battery fleet ensuring performance expectations are met. You will develop a strong understanding of the core technology and its operating philosophy to serve as a keytechnical reference for both host site operators and other Rondo teams. This position requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including those in different timezones. As the Rondo fleet spans across several continents, candidates must have flexibility to work across multiple time zones and travel internationally as required.

Position Summary
This is a senior role within the Business Development team to originate and develop high quality project opportunities in the international industrial heat market and develop them towards final investment decisions (FID). You will lead a cross-functional team to bring credible, large-scale industrial decarbonization projects to life. You'll also leverage your expertise to help evolve Antora’s deal-team playbook for high-performance, efficiency and productivity. Projects will initially be internationally located, with focus in Spain and/or Australia, but over time may be in other markets including the US as well. This role prefers candidates that operate 4+ days per week from the San Jose, CA office when not traveling.

THE ROLE
The Global Head of O&M Engineering will lead and continuously evolve Wise Energy’s global Operations & Maintenance (O&M) engineering capability across all regions, asset classes and client portfolios. This senior, strategically critical role sets global engineering standards, shapes O&M strategy, and ensures consistent, high-quality delivery through third party partners to maximise long term asset value. This role ensures that all O&M expenditure translates into superior asset performance, reliability, and long-term value creation. As the strategic owner of O&M relationships, the position will establish trusted partnerships, define clear expectations, and rigorously manage provider performance to deliver excellence
Acting as WiseEnergy’s senior technical authority for operational assets, you will oversee asset performance, availability, compliance and risk mitigation through strong governance and data-led oversight. You will also ensure that operational insights inform future asset design, construction and investment strategies.
As a key member of the Wise Senior Leadership Team, you will build trusted relationships across WiseEnergy and the wider NextEnergy Group, develop engineering capabilities and contribute to high-quality service delivery for clients and fund managers.

In this role, you will work closely with the Rondo Mechanical Engineering team, external partners, and prospective customers to define complete system solutions which deliver zero carbon, reliable heat for customer projects. You will conduct thermo-economic analyses to identify configurations which maximize the value created by Rondo’s technology and develop the technical information critical to developing a robust pipeline of project opportunities.
