Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

• Work alongside Twilio New business Account Executives, other Twilio Solutions Engineers, Professional Services and Twilio Partners as needed through the pre-sales process, to strategise and plan for deal success. 
• Build a successful business partnership with Twilio Account Executives focussing on great business discovery within prospects and communicating the business value of Twilio solutions.
• Take part alongside Account Executives in qualification, discovery, demonstrations, Proof-of-Concept, RFP response, design documentation, technical presentations and enablement sessions during the sales cycle.

*Required:

• At least 5 years in a technical pre-sales role in CPaaS, SaaS or Telecom space
• Solid understanding and experience of the sales cycle and the role of a pre-sales engineer

About the role

As Director of Product, Core Markets, you will own the strategy and execution that positions Fundraise Up as the category leader in key nonprofit verticals. You’ll lead and grow a team of Product Managers, collaborate tightly with Sales, GTM, and Customer Success, and engage directly with senior nonprofit executives on complex, enterprise-scale deals. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing features, participating in technical discussions, and growing your technical depth. You'll work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering to build polished, performant, and accessible user experiences that directly impact conversion, retention, and business growth.

• On-Call Rotation - There would be an on-call rotation for this role as a requirement.

What We Look For

• You have previous work or internship experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale and are experienced using one of Python or Kotlin.

• You are familiar with the building blocks of distributed systems, and the technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.

• You have knowledge of modern front-end tech stack (we use Javascript, Typescript, React/React Native/Redux, ES6, Webpack, and CSS3)

• You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code.

• You are comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews.

• Your experience demonstrates that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders.

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.

• You are a self-driven and motivated engineer who takes pride and ownership in navigating through ambiguities and solving complex technical problems

Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Grade - J

Equity Grade - Spain 2

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. 

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).

POL base pay range per year: €55,000 - €85,000
