Scopely is looking for a Senior Generative AI Designer / Artist to join our Marketing team Flamed in Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis.

What You Will Do

This role requires someone comfortable working at a fast production pace, combining AI-assisted workflows, strong layout skills, polished image execution, and medium-level video editing capabilities.

You will join our Arts & Animation Pod in Barcelona to create high-quality creative assets for some of the top mobile games in the world, including UA ads, ASO/store assets, social media content, key visuals, video templates, storyboards, and performance-driven iterations.

• Produce high-quality static and video marketing assets from briefs, benchmarks, and creative direction.
• Create polished graphic layouts, templates, key visuals, store assets, SoMe posts, and UA creatives.
• Develop video templates, key frames, simple edits, storyboards, and performance variations for short-form marketing content.
• Use AI tools as part of the creative process, refining outputs through prompt iteration, compositing, paintovers, retouching, and final polish.
• Work mainly with Photoshop, and use Premiere and After Effects for editing, timing, keyframes, and template adaptation.
• Collaborate with the Lead Artist, Art Director, and wider creative teams to ensure assets align with brand guidelines, art direction, storytelling, and production standards.
• Participate in brainstorms and creative exploration, including occasional support on video hooks and new visual concepts.
• Deliver fast, high-quality iterations based on feedback, KPIs, and creative performance data.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in marketing art, production art, visual design, or creative asset production, ideally in gaming, entertainment, or mobile-first content.
• Familiarity with AI art pipelines, prompt writing, and image refinement tools.
• Strong portfolio showing both static and video work, ideally from brief, sketch, storyboard, or concept through to final execution.
• Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills, especially in layout, compositing, retouching, and final image polish.
• Medium-level skills in Premiere and After Effects for editing, adapting templates, timing, keyframes, and producing polished marketing videos.
• Strong graphic design fundamentals: layout, typography, composition, color, hierarchy, lighting, and visual balance.
• Good understanding of UA, ASO, and social media creative formats.
• Strong design taste, attention to craft, and ability to deliver polished assets under fast-paced timelines.
• Ability to create sketches, storyboards, key frames, and rough layouts to develop ideas before final production.
• Good understanding of art direction and visual storytelling.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with 3D tools.
• Experience with Unity or game engine captures.
• Fast sketching skills for ideation and storyboarding.

Scopely is looking for a talented Senior Motion Designer to join our Marketing Creative Services team, Flamed, in our Barcelona office, working on a hybrid basis.

We are Flamed, the in-house creative agency, an international multidisciplinary team. We produce thousands of creatives each year to support the global marketing needs of all Scopely games. This role will involve supporting multiple titles across our portfolio, depending on business needs, including Pokémon GO, Monster Hunter Now, and Stumble Guys, among others.

What you will do:

• Own and deliver high-quality motion design projects, translating creative briefs into strong visual solutions, from art direction through to final delivery.
• Help build impactful brand identities for our games and drive top-performing results in collaboration with other creative teams. Stay up to date with current pop culture trends (e.g., social media, design, film, TV).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, ideate, and create storyboards and/or animatics to communicate concepts ahead of production.
• Work with strong attention to detail in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment. 

What you will need:

• 5+ years of experience in motion graphic design within advertising or entertainment marketing.
• A strong demo reel showcasing expert-level motion design and animation.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools, including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render, Premiere and Photoshop.
• Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design.
• Strong art direction skills, storytelling ability, and a keen visual sense.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for creative excellence.
• Passion for mobile games.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Bonus Point:

• Hands-on experience using Unreal Engine to produce cinematic-quality renders.
• Additional experience with Unity is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Social Media, Performance Marketing, and User Acquisition creatives.
• A proactive interest in AI-assisted design tools and their creative applications..

✅ Requirements:

✔️ Minimum 3+ years of industry experience working with creative teams within a studio, preferably in branded graphic illustrations and visuals
✔️Have experience in photo retouching, photography, AI image creation, typography, vector shapes, and logos experiments, and working with photoshooting
✔️Ability to scale a brand’s graphic idea into a library of promo images
✔️ Experience in Figma and Photoshop. High retouching and color correction skills are required
✔️ Knowledge of core UI principles and a product design pipeline, experience collaborating with product design teams
✔️ Experience creating and managing artwork libraries and style guides
✔️ Readiness to supervise middle designers and vendors’ artwork.
