As a Senior Software Engineer - Agent (Endpoint Protection) Platform, you will design, develop, and operate large-scale, low-latency applications engineered to process several millions of events per second. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of high-volume data pipelines, ensuring mission-critical stability and data integrity through rigorous testing and proactive monitoring of key performance metrics. By continuously refining the codebase and optimizing for distributed scale, you will build the resilient backbone that allows SentinelOne’s platform to stay ahead of global cyber threats in real-time.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume and low latency applications, built to handle several millions of events per second.

• Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.

• Participate and collaborate with cross functional teams in the organization to understand the business requirements and to deliver solutions that can scale.

• Maintain application stability and data integrity by monitoring key metrics and improving codebase accordingly.

• Understand & maintain existing codebase by regular re-factoring and applying requested fixes and features.

• Learn new technologies that can solve our huge volume of data and the challenges it poses.

Your Toolkit:

• Our new components are primarily developed in Go and Java, and we use Python in our current backend environment.

• Communication between microservices is facilitated using gRPC, REST, GraphQL APIs, and Kafka, depending on specific requirements.

• We use Redis, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, ClickHouse and have our columnar time-series database for efficient event storage and retrieval at scale.

• Our services are deployed across multiple AWS/GCP regions with Kubernetes; among other tools, you'd also use Docker, GitHub and ArgoCD.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

• Multiple years of professional backend development experience in one or more of the following: Golang, Java, Python

• Ability to quickly dive into new products and understand their inner workings

• Experience with large-scale high-load distributed systems & performance

• Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or other cloud platforms, and with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end development of new agent capabilities, from researching Linux and cloud security technologies to designing detection strategies and delivering them at scale. You’ll work across kernel-level components, user-space engines, and cloud-native security features, tackling complex system engineering challenges.

Your work will enhance the security of Linux and cloud workloads used by hundreds of thousands of users globally. We’re looking for engineers with Linux and/or cloud security experience who can innovate from scratch and drive scalable capabilities across our products.

What Will You Do?

• Software Development (70-80% of time) - we use C++23, occasionally also Rust and/or Go
• Write tests to cover new code
• Conduct low-level research and design new features
• Peer code reviews; Participate in the team’s design reviews
• Learn new technologies in the Linux and Cloud workloads security domains (e.g. eBPF)

As a Windows Low Level Engineer - Endpoint security, you will design and develop advanced security features for SentinelOne’s Windows endpoint protection platform, operating across both user-mode and kernel-mode environments. You will build and optimize mission-critical components including anti-tampering protections, network sensors, and agent infrastructure while solving complex performance and stability challenges at massive scale. By researching Windows internals and debugging deep system issues, you will collaborate with distributed engineering teams to deliver high-impact security capabilities protecting millions of devices worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in low-level C++ programming and a deep understanding of Windows OS, to help us in developing our Endpoint Protection product, the core part of our business, and to join one of our Platform group teams. (We're currently growing multiple teams and are open to new colleagues with a wide variety of backgrounds within Windows development!).

The Platform group teams are in charge of some of our most complex low-level areas, such as:

• Windows agent’s Anti-Tampering (self-protection from malware attempting to harm the agent), network sensors, device control, and other kernel-side features involving both research and development,
• usermode security & agent infrastructures - e.g. installers, logging, services such as communication layer & interfaces for our Windows agent, for improving the quality, performance & stability of the agent and making the user experience smoother.

What will you do?

• As a new member of one of our distributed development teams, you will work in both user-mode & kernel-mode, and deal with a large variety of fields.
• You will have the chance to design, develop primarily in modern C++ (23), test and debug the most complicated real-world problems (often unseen before). In order to successfully deal with this challenge, you will continuously enrich your knowledge and experience with Windows OS internals & Kernel, Endpoint Protection, and Endpoint Detection & Response eco-system.
• Our teams design and execute significant new features, as well as rewrite and reimplement the existing ones from scratch. You will also deal with extraordinary performance & optimization challenges, given the scale of our cybersecurity SW (handling hundreds of billions of events every day).

• Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment
