- Responsible for iOS app architect, design, development, code review, testing and releasing.
- Leading the iOS app design review and code review, ensure the code quality.
- Cross team collaboration, working closely with business team, product team and UI/UX team, ensure delivering new features with high quality in schedule.
- Ensure the app availability and stability, provide the best customer experience to client.
- Keen to new technology, continously assessing and applying new technology, improving team's productivity and techonology leading.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of hands-on Android development experience
- Rich Objective-C/Swift experience. Rich app performance tuning experience.
- Rich iOS app releasing experience(Apple Store);
- Understand deeply about iOS platform, familiar with Objective-C, Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, Cocoa Touch, UIKit…
- Rich RESTful JSON API integration experience;
- Good understanding of design pattern, such as MVP/MVC/MVVM, Observers, Delegation;
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and building products from 0 to 1
Preferred Qualifications
- Flutter or React Native Experience
- Code refactoring experience
- Background in the eCommerce, payment domain
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English

Scopely is looking for a Client Engineer to join an unannounced title based in our Shanghai office (5 days in the office).

What You Will Do
We are looking for a Client Engineer to help build the next generation of our games. You will work with a team of passionate engineers while developing core systems and features that power large-scale, real-time experiences for our unannounced game title. You’ll work on complex technical challenges involving real-time interaction, large-scale systems, and a persistent shared world used by tens of millions of players.
- Develop, and maintain key client-side components that enable rich, scalable game experiences.
- Partner closely with server, product, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and product quality.
- Apply engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, load testing, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across mobile platforms to ensure stability and uptime for live systems.
- Participate in regular in-person meetings and collaboration sessions (role requires 5 days/week in office).
What We're Looking For
- Experience developing commercial games in Unity, C#
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Mobile native coding (Java/Kotlin for Android, ObjC/Swift for iOS, C/C++ for native)
- Network programming, cloud computing and server debugging
- Graphics programming for 3D games
- Familiar with Git, Bash and Gradle
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English
- BS / MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
Bonus Points
- Experience with profiling and optimization for mobile
- Experience with developing productivity tools and creating efficient procedures
- Rich experience in playing mobile games and console games
- Experience leading a team: task breakdown&scoping, code reviews, mentoring junior devs, prototyping, etc.
- Excellent verbal English communication
