What You Will Do

You will work in a collaborative environment with our team of game designers and artists to explore and iterate on gameplay and visual direction. The ideal candidate will show a portfolio with a whimsical art style that displays a high level of ability in production design, concept design, and character design.

• Work closely with Art Leads in delivering quality assets on time
• Create concepts and designs for various features. This can include characters, buildings, and props.
• Ability to work well cross-discipline with the narrative, design, and product team.
• Able to create 2D production art for in-game assets.
• Manage deliverables to ensure tasks are delivered on time at high quality.
• Work alongside your broader art team to brainstorm ideas. You will deliver concepts and work with the 3D team to ensure directional alignment from concept to final asset.
• Interface with Lead Artist, Art Director, Producers, and other project leads on various issues and deadlines.
• Provide clear feedback to both internal and external artists
• Work collaboratively with the narrative, design, and art team.
• A willingness to embrace and explore AI-powered tools that enhance the art creation process.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience as a concept artist or 2D artist working in games.
• Strong ability to research and reference material that supports idea generation and problem-solving.
• Ability to design whimsical characters, environments, and props according to the established art direction.
• Excellent understanding of traditional art principles including composition, scale, perspective, rendering, color, and form.
• Proficient in digital art software such as photoshop
• Familiar with 3D modeling, animation, and cinematic principles.
• Ability to solve visual problems creatively with quick sketches.

• Create mockups and pitches for in-game User Interfaces [layout, design and iconography]

• Clearly present and communicate the best UI direction to various stakeholders, and defend your work as necessary

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of practical art/design experience working in games, preferably mobile
• Strong graphic design and illustration skills for casual/stylized games
• Experience with typography and logo design
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design best practices and interaction design fundamentals
• A strong understanding of UI conventions and challenges for mobile and other emerging platforms
• Ability to translate flowcharts and wireframes into fun, usable, visually polished UI systems

What you will do

As a Senior VFX Artist, you will be a key player in the creative process, as you will help bring to life new features and boards. Your everyday challenges will include working alongside animation and integration artists, making different kinds of sequences more appealing to the player, as well as emphasising important gameplay points. You will also make our brand new boards look shinier than ever, not only by continuing the game standard, but always being ready to innovate and create new kinds of effects to push the quality bar even higher.

The Senior VFX Artist will independently produce and deliver a wide range of high-quality visual effects through any stage of the production process in respect of the project's technical, design, and artistic constraints. You will guide and mentor junior artists while being a known resource for VFX art and best practices.

• Take on challenging FX problems and develop solutions that consider all variables in a self-sufficient manner

• Break down challenging or open-ended requests into actionable tasks, examine feasible options, autonomously collaborate across disciplines to propose a plan of action, and implement solutions that will satisfy all the stakeholders

• Fluent knowledge of at least one major 3D package (Maya, Max, Houdini, etc.)

• Create a wide variety of real-time special effects using sprite-based particle systems along with pixel and vertex shaders; e.g., rain, snow, smoke, explosion, destruction, weapon, fire, geometry, surface shader, and full-screen effects

• Collaborate with Art and Engineering teams, offering creative and efficient solutions to help solve performance-related issues

• Maintain clean, organized FX and Shader libraries

• Clearly communicate updates and communicate timely concerns to the production team

• Occasionally support recruitment projects with TA collaboration

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years' experience in AAA video games and at least one AAA shipped title
• Familiarity with video game product development including workflows, tools, particle systems, lighting, high and low poly modeling, texture painting, texture/UV animation, UV layout, in-game sprite animation, material setup
• Demonstrate a knowledge of optimization, performance, and profiling considerations
• Can effectively collaborate with all disciplines - game design, production, and engineers as well as artists
• Excellent technical and artistic problem-solving skills
• Experience working with Unity game engine, Photoshop and 3D applications (Maya or 3D Studio Max)

Bonus Points 

• Provide the user with a positive experience, focusing on the features that the individual interacts with when they play a game
• Have experience creating preview sequences and animations in After Effects or similar
• Worked previously or have a portfolio with stylised or cartoon effects

What You Will Do

As a Technical Artist , you will be working between our developers and artists and your main function will be to complete the asset integration pipeline, which is to take assets coming from external software suites, import them and assemble them into the development environment of the team (Unity3d)

• Participate in development of tools and solutions for our artists
• Mediate between art and tech departments to ensure smooth and efficient asset integration
• Implement UI and 2D assets into Unity canvas, and sprites
• Importing and working with 3D assets and animations in Unity 
• Creating shadergraph for feature development
• Profile and optimize graphical , memory and CPU KPIs
• Managing, maintaining and integrating assets into versioned asset repositories
• Creating content with the internal Unity3d toolset: materials, animation controllers, particle systems, timeline sequences, cinematic content, lights and using third party plugins or internal tools
• Supporting and documenting pipelines and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience using Unity
• Experience in UI / UX design
