At BrainRocket, we manage a high-growth ecosystem of 6,000+ employees across 5+ countries and we are seeking a strategic HR Data Analyst to lead our infrastructure migration to HiBob, standardize our global people metrics, and transform raw data into a strategic asset for leadership and Total Rewards.
Key Missions
- Lead the technical transition from BambooHR to HiBob. You will own the data mapping, historical data migration, and the establishment of a "Single Source of Truth" to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Partner with leadership to execute high-accuracy headcount modeling and payroll budget forecasting. Shift the department from reactive reporting to predictive analytics (e.g., turnover predictors and hiring ROI).
- Eliminate manual reporting bottlenecks. Utilize Python and SQL to automate recurring data pulls, complex calculations, and stakeholder dashboards.
- Design and maintain intuitive, self-service BI dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to empower stakeholders with real-time, actionable insights.
Your Toolkit
- 3+ years in data analytics, handling large-scale datasets.
- Deep understanding of HR-specific KPIs (Turnover, eNPS, C&B, Retention).
- Advanced SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel for complex financial modeling, payroll simulations, and automation; expert at architecting data models and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to translate technical datasets into strategic advice for the Head of Total Rewards and stakeholders.

We’re looking for a Staff-level Backend Engineer (AI) to bridge robust backend systems with Generative AI. You’ll design the frameworks, standards, and platforms that allow AI capabilities to scale securely, reliably, and efficiently across the enterprise, going beyond feature delivery to influence long-term technical direction.
AS A STAFF ENGINEER YOU WILL BE:
- Build core services for Tide’s agentic platform, including APIs, workflow orchestration, and tool integration
- Integrate bought components where they accelerate delivery, and build where control, trust, and reuse matter most
- Work with product, data, platform, and security teams to productionise shared AI capabilities
- Design services that are reliable, secure, observable, and easy for other teams to adopt
- Help shape reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong backend or platform engineering experience in production environments.
- Good judgement across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design.
- Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and turning emerging needs into robust platform components.
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer usability.
- Experience with AI infrastructure or orchestration is helpful, but not essential.
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Fintech, Healthtech, etc.) where safety and compliance are core to the product is valuable, but not essential.
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories
OUR TECH STACK:
- Java, Spring Boot and JOOQ to build the RESTful APIs of our microservices (but we welcome people who are used to any strongly typed general purpose programming language!)
- Event-driven architecture with messages over SNS+SQS and Kafka to make them reliable
- Primary datastores are MySQL and PostgreSQL via RDS or Aurora (we are heavy AWS users)
- Docker, Terraform, EKS used by the Cloud team to run the platform
- DataDog and Rollbar to keep it running
- GitHub with Sonarcloud, Semgrep and solid testing to power the CI/CD pipelines - new joiners are encouraged to have something deployed to production in their first 2 weeks
- Angular 2+ with ngrx on Web, Flutter for the Mobile App
- Fivetran/Snowflake/Looker for the BI insights and Python/Faust/Flask/Tecton + some ML libs for the automated decisioning and risk management

ABOUT THE ROLE
Tide is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture of our agentic platform.
You will shape the shared capabilities that allow AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across Tide. That includes context, orchestration, tool execution, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. You will participate in key build versus buy decisions, integrate external components where they accelerate us, and ensure we own the parts that matter most for Tide’s trust, data advantage, and long-term platform leverage.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Define the architecture for Tide’s agentic platform
- Drive the design of shared services such as context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability
- Partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to turn use cases into reusable platform capabilities
- Set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience
- Provide technical leadership across teams and unblock critical decisions
- Implement cost-management and routing logic to optimize LLM spend across different providers
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Deep experience building platform or infrastructure systems at scale
- Strong judgement across APIs, distributed systems, data, and cloud-native architecture
- Track record of leading complex cross-team technical problems
- Experience integrating third-party platforms without losing control of core architecture
- Strong understanding of reliability, security, and observability
- Experience with AI platform components is valuable, but not essential

This role will help determine whether Tide builds isolated AI pilots or a reusable platform that compounds value across productivity, risk, and connectivity.

- Java, Spring Boot and JOOQ to build the RESTful APIs of our microservices (but we welcome people who are used to any strongly typed general purpose programming language!)
- Event-driven architecture with messages over SNS+SQS and Kafka to make them reliable
- Primary datastores are MySQL and PostgreSQL via RDS or Aurora (we are heavy AWS users)
- Docker, Terraform, EKS used by the Cloud team to run the platform
- DataDog and Rollbar to keep it running
- GitHub with Sonarcloud, Semgrep and solid testing to power the CI/CD pipelines - new joiners are encouraged to have something deployed to production in their first 2 weeks
- Angular 2+ with ngrx on Web, Flutter for the Mobile App
- Fivetran/Snowflake/Looker for the BI insights and Python/Faust/Flask/Tecton + some ML libs for the automated decisioning and risk management

As an Engineering Manager at Tide, you will be responsible for building and running the products your team owns, covering everything our members need to run their business, from banking and payments through to administration and operational tooling.

- Leading & Directly managing a cross functional team
- Partnering with a Product Manager to form the Product Engineering Duo

- Extensive experience (10+ years) building server-side applications and detailed knowledge of Java

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Engineering Manager at Tide, you will be responsible for building and running the products your team owns, covering everything our members need to run their business, from banking and payments through to administration and operational tooling.

We operate in domain-aligned, full-stack teams that own products end to end. Engineers self-organise, collaborate on technical challenges, and define shared standards through Communities of Practice.
- Leading & Directly managing a cross functional team of 8-12 engineers
- Partnering with a Product Manager to form the Product Engineering Duo
- Deeply caring about what’s being built as much as the how
- Being responsible of the delivery of the team - quality, stability, timelines, dependencies
- Being responsible of the tech excellence and architecture within the scope of the team
- Driving the continuous improvement of the team performance as measured by DORA
- Securing the continuous growth and wellbeing of the engineers on their team
- Being hands-on, carefully dividing your time between design, coding and coaching other team members. You will be the person people turn to seeking advice and solutions to difficult problems.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) building server-side applications and detailed knowledge of of Python, Java, C#, or another similar language
- Sound knowledge of a backend framework (e.g. Spring/Spring Boot)
- Experience with running microservices and implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment
- A mindset of delivering secure, well-tested and well-documented software
- Full ownership of your code and technical solutions across their entire lifecycle, from development to production.
- Experience integrating with various third party providers and partners
- Sound knowledge and experience working with relational databases
- Work effectively in an agile environment, using its practices to deliver value consistently and adapt quickly
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Apply continuous integration, delivery, and deployment practices in day-to-day development to deliver software reliably to production
- A technical hands on leader who is in the details of what the team is working on day to day
- Experience leading teams
- Experience directly managing people
Our Tech Stack
- Python, Java, Spring Boot and JOOQ to build the RESTful APIs of our microservices (but we welcome people who are used to any strongly typed general purpose programming language!)
- Event-driven architecture with messages over SNS+SQS and Kafka to make them reliable
- Primary datastores are PostgreSQL via RDS or Aurora (we are heavy AWS users)
- Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD and, EKS provided by the Cloud team to run the platform
- DataDog for monitoring, observability and automated SLOs
- GitHub, Semgrep and solid testing to power the CI/CD pipelines - new joiners are encouraged to have something deployed to production in their first week
- Angular on Web, Flutter for our mobile app, but from time to time we use Swift and Kotlin
- Fivetran/BigQuery/Looker for the BI insights and Python/FastAPI/Faust + some ML libs for the automated decisioning and risk management
