업무 내용 

스태프 머신러닝 엔지니어로서 여러분은 다음을 담당합니다:

• 상품 분류, 속성 추론, 상품 정규화, 중복/유사 상품 처리 등 카탈로그 품질 개선을 위한 엔드투엔드 ML 시스템 설계 및 구축
• 수십억 건의 상품/속성 데이터를 기반으로 대규모 예측/생성 모델 개발 및 최적화
• 데이터 전처리, 피처 엔지니어링, 학습, 평가, 배포, 모니터링까지 이어지는 ML 파이프라인 아키텍처 설계 및 운영
• 딥러닝, 표현 학습, 벡터 모델링, 유사도 검색 등 최신 ML 기법 적용
• Search, Recommendation, Product, Data, Platform 등 크로스 펑셔널 팀과 협업하여 ML 시스템을 핵심 워크플로우에 통합

자격 요건

About the Team

The Catalog Engineering team builds foundational AI and ML systems that structure, validate, and optimize Coupang’s ever-growing product catalog. Our work powers the accuracy, quality, and consistency of catalog data used across Search, Recommendation, Personalization, Ads, and downstream customer experiences.

We innovate in large-scale machine learning, deep learning, data processing, and knowledge-based systems to ensure that Coupang’s catalog remains comprehensive, reliable, and operational at massive scale. We are looking for Staff-level ML Engineers who are passionate about building high-impact, production-grade ML platforms at the core of e-commerce.

Role / Responsibilities

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in Catalog Engineering, you will:

• Architect and develop end-to-end ML systems that improve catalog quality, including product classification, attribute inference, normalization, disambiguation, and product grouping
• Build and optimize large-scale predictive and generative models that operate on billions of product records and attributes
• Design ML pipelines for feature computation, data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring
• Apply state-of-the-art methods in deep learning, representation learning, vector modeling, and similarity search to solve catalog-centric problems
• Partner with engineering, product, data, and platform teams to ensure catalog ML systems integrate effectively into mission-critical workflows
• Drive experimentation frameworks (A/B tests, offline/online validation) to measure and improve model impact
• Establish best practices for ML engineering, including model quality, monitoring, reliability, observability, and MLOps standards
• Provide technical leadership across the ML lifecycle and mentor engineers on system design, modeling approaches, and pipeline development
• Influence the long-term technical roadmap for Catalog Engineering by identifying opportunities for foundational improvements and reusable components

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and/or applied machine learning
• 4+ years of hands-on experience building production-grade, large-scale ML systems
• Deep expertise in ML/AI/deep learning, including model architecture, loss functions, optimization, and statistical modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of: Scala, Java, or PySpark
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Significant experience with large-scale data processing (SQL, Spark, data lakes, data warehouses)
• Experience deploying and operating ML systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong track record of leading complex technical initiatives and working with cross-functional partners
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence engineering and product stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Experience in e-commerce, catalog systems, product understanding, search, or data quality platforms
• Experience with embedding models, representation learning, vector similarity search, or large-scale clustering
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Weights & Biases, CI/CD for ML)
• Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency inference systems

About the Role

Under the mission of "Making Robots Intelligent," Seoul Robotics is developing the world's best perception technology for autonomous driving. We are looking for talented software engineers who can design, implement, and productize technologies that precisely perceive the world by fusing data from various sensors such as LiDAR and cameras. You will develop and optimize algorithms that process vast amounts of LiDAR point clouds and high-resolution camera images in real-time using deep learning and various cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement 3D object detection, tracking, segmentation, and classification algorithms using LiDAR and camera data.
• Convert and integrate deep learning models developed in PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc., into C++ based high-performance inference engines.
• Profiling and optimization for real-time processing.
• Implement Sensor Fusion algorithms for autonomous driving systems.
• Build data pipelines.
• Verify algorithms through simulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python or Modern C++ (C++14/17 or higher) programming.
• Fundamental knowledge of computer science such as data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
• Related mathematical knowledge such as linear algebra, probability and statistics, and geometry.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning and deep learning (CNN, PointNet, Transformer, etc.).
• Business English proficiency (Collaboration with a multinational team is essential).

• Experience in LiDAR point cloud processing or 3D computer vision projects.
