WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Data Ingestion & Transformation (CDIT) team. This team is vital to Braze's growth, owning multiple systems that enable customers to quickly and successfully integrate their data with our platform. CDIT focuses on two main product areas. The primary one is Braze’s Cloud Data Ingestion, which allows customers to seamlessly leverage the data in their cloud warehouse in Braze. Our system processes trillions of data points annually and integrates with an ever-growing variety of Braze features. We also own Data Transformation, a platform for customizing the flow of data from external sources into Braze. By increasing the comprehensiveness and ease of use of these systems, the engineer who joins us will have a direct and meaningful impact on our customers' success and the company's growth.
WHO YOU ARE
- 6+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications. While our primary focus is on the back-end, we own our features end-to-end and regularly deliver front-end experiences
- Experienced technical leader with a track record of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- A self-starter with great communication and organizational skills who has worked in an agile team environment before
- Willingness to learn the technologies required to deliver what customers need
- Bonus points:
- Professional experience building software at scale, handling high volumes of data and traffic
- Experienced building automated data pipeline, asynchronous processing, or ETL applications using tools like Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, and RabbitMQ
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, React, Snowflake, microservice architecture, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with modern data warehousing, BI, and analytics
- Experience with agile processes
- A passion for incrementally delivering high-quality software which delights customers

Engenheiro de Inteligência Artificial
Responsabilidades:
- Projetar, desenvolver e aprimorar aplicações baseadas em foundation models (ex.: LLMs, modelos multimodais) para necessidades específicas de negócio;
- Implementar e experimentar técnicas de IA generativa, incluindo, mas não se limitando a, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) e prompt engineering;
- Liderar a implementação de agentes autônomos inteligentes e sistemas multiagente capazes de tomada de decisão complexa, execução de tarefas e interação com sistemas externos;
- Utilizar e contribuir para frameworks de IA agentic (ex.: LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Crew AI) para construir agentes robustos e escaláveis;
- Desenvolver e integrar soluções de Model Context Protocol (MCP) para padronizar como aplicações de IA acessam e utilizam fontes de dados externas, ferramentas e informações em tempo real;
- Liderar o desenvolvimento de aplicações full-stack que integrem modelos de IA generativa e sistemas agentic, garantindo experiências de usuário fluidas;
- Trabalhar com tecnologias de front-end (ex.: React, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) e back-end (ex.: Python com Flask/Django/FastAPI, Node.js, Go);
- Projetar e implementar APIs RESTful escaláveis e microsserviços para expor funcionalidades de IA;
- Implantar, gerenciar e otimizar cargas de trabalho de IA/ML e aplicações full-stack em pelo menos uma grande plataforma de nuvem (AWS, Azure ou GCP);
- Implementar práticas de LLMOps/MLOps e DevOps para integração contínua, entrega contínua (CI/CD), implantação de modelos, monitoramento e gestão de ciclo de vida;
- Manter-se atualizado sobre os avanços mais recentes em IA generativa, sistemas agentic, foundation models e áreas relacionadas por meio de pesquisa e experimentação contínuas;
- Colaborar de forma eficaz com equipes multifuncionais, incluindo gerentes de produto, cientistas de dados, pesquisadores e outros engenheiros;
- Orientar engenheiros juniores, compartilhar conhecimento e promover uma cultura de excelência técnica.
Requisitos:
- Bacharelado ou Mestrado em Ciência da Computação, Inteligência Artificial, Machine Learning ou área quantitativa relacionada;
- 5+ anos de experiência em desenvolvimento de software com forte foco em IA/ML;
- Experiência comprovada na construção e implantação de modelos de IA generativa (ex.: LLMs, modelos de difusão) em ambientes de produção;
- Expertise demonstrada em projetar e implementar sistemas de IA agentic e arquiteturas multiagente;
- Sólido entendimento e experiência prática com Model Context Protocol (MCP) para integração de sistemas de IA;
- Experiência consistente em desenvolvimento de aplicações full-stack;
- Ampla experiência com plataformas de nuvem (AWS, Azure ou GCP) para implantações de IA/ML e hospedagem de aplicações em geral;
- Experiência com ferramentas e práticas de LLMOps (ex.: Langfuse, Langsmith, etc.);
- Excelentes habilidades de resolução de problemas, análise e comunicação;
- Capacidade de trabalhar de forma independente e colaborativa em um ambiente ágil e dinâmico;
- Inglês avançado.
