The Senior PagerDuty - Forward Deployment Engineering Consultant is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development, deployment, and optimization of PagerDuty's platform and AI-driven solutions for enterprise customers. 

This position requires experience in software development, architecture, and deployment, coupled with a deep technical understanding of AI integration practices and advanced development technologies. 

The successful candidate will guide fast implementation projects, leveraging generative AI and automation to enhance customer outcomes from initial scoping and design through to production deployment and ongoing service enhancement. 

Additionally, they will serve as the principal liaison between customers and internal teams, including Support, Success, Engineering, Professional Services, and Education, as well as between customers and PagerDuty’s Product & Development teams, ensuring that technical strategies align with business objectives. 

This role also involves mentoring junior consultants, leading technical workshops on AI-powered solutions, and representing PagerDuty in external forums to advance modern development and deployment practices. 

Responsibilities: 

• As a Senior Forward Deployment Engineering Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for collaborating with PagerDuty customers on the successful design, development, and implementation of solutions across the PagerDuty Operations Cloud. 
• Collaborate with large-scale enterprises to perform comprehensive scoping assessments, ensuring that the specific technical and business requirements for platform deployment and AI solutions are thoroughly defined and aligned with organizational objectives. 
• Lead end-to-end deployment projects by planning, coordinating, and executing the integration of PagerDuty solutions, leveraging advanced development techniques to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to ongoing business operations. 
• Partner across the organization’s customer-facing teams (Support, Success, Engineering, Professional Services, Education) as the Subject Matter Expert related to PagerDuty Operations Cloud. Support customer account teams in customer meetings, business reviews, and strategy, deployment, and upgrade planning, particularly where new product features or improvements may be required. 
• Partner across PagerDuty Product & Development teams as the Subject Matter Expert, bringing direct customer feedback for new features, AI capabilities, and integration requirements for improvement in future product releases. 
• Develop a deep understanding of PagerDuty products, solutions, integrations, processes, and workflows used in typical customer engagements.

Requirements: 

• 5–8 years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer in enterprise-level environments.

A medida que nuestras funciones de integración e IA convergen, aportarás fluidez en IA para identificar oportunidades donde tecnologías como los Modelos de Lenguaje Extensos (LLMs) y la Generación Aumentada por Recuperación (RAG) puedan hacer que los flujos de trabajo sean más inteligentes y eficientes.

Lo que harás:

• Impulsar requisitos y alineación de stakeholders: Colaborar con socios internos de diversos departamentos para descubrir necesidades de forma proactiva, hacer las preguntas correctas y traducir problemas de negocio en especificaciones técnicas claras. Usar tu influencia para ayudar a los equipos a priorizar y establecer expectativas realistas.
• Construir integraciones empresariales: Diseñar, desarrollar y desplegar integraciones utilizando plataformas iPaaS (principalmente Tray.io) para conectar sistemas críticos como Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk, Snowflake y otras aplicaciones corporativas.
• Colaboración interfuncional: Trabajar estrechamente con ingenieros, sistemas de negocio y producto para alinear el trabajo de integración con iniciativas técnicas más amplias. Servir de puente entre los interesados no técnicos y los equipos técnicos.
• Optimización de la plataforma: Liderar esfuerzos para consolidar y optimizar nuestro ecosistema de plataformas de integración, garantizando escalabilidad, fiabilidad y rentabilidad.
• Aplicar IA donde agregue valor: Identificar oportunidades para mejorar los flujos de trabajo utilizando tecnologías de IA (LLMs, procesamiento de lenguaje natural y RAG) para pasar de una sincronización de datos básica hacia soluciones adaptativas e inteligentes.

• Documentación y transferencia de conocimiento: Crear y mantener documentación clara y runbooks que reduzcan la dependencia de miembros individuales del equipo.

• Mantenerse al día con las tendencias: Investigar los últimos avances en plataformas iPaaS y AI/ML, compartiendo hallazgos con el equipo.

Lo que aportas:

• Inglés avanzado (requisito excluyente)
• Disponibilidad para trabajar híbrido en Santiago (3x2)
• Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación, Ingeniería o experiencia equivalente. Un postgrado es un plus.
• Más de 5 años de experiencia profesional en ingeniería de integración, automatización o roles técnicos relacionados.
• Más de 5 años de experiencia práctica construyendo integraciones en al menos una plataforma iPaaS (Tray.ai, Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft, Boomi o similar). Se prefiere fuertemente experiencia con Tray.ai.
• Sólidas habilidades de programación en al menos un lenguaje de scripting (Python, JavaScript o Ruby) con capacidad para escribir código personalizado dentro de los flujos de integración.
• Más de 3 año de experiencia en proyectos de AI/ML, incluyendo la construcción de soluciones potenciadas por IA, trabajo con LLMs o implementación de arquitecturas RAG.
• Experiencia con MCP, construcción de agentes, automatización agente-a-agente y otras tecnologías de IA relacionadas.
• Familiaridad con plataformas en la nube (AWS, Azure o GCP) es un plus.
• Sólido conocimiento de diseño de APIs, servicios RESTful, webhooks y arquitecturas orientadas a eventos.
• Experiencia con aplicaciones SaaS empresariales y bases de datos (Salesforce, Workday, Zendesk, Snowflake, etc.).
• Capacidad excepcional para abordar problemas abiertos en entornos no estructurados, sintetizando requisitos complejos en soluciones técnicas escalables.
• Historial comprobado de trabajo efectivo en equipos multidisciplinarios, con fuertes habilidades interpersonales y de comunicación.
• Atención al detalle con compromiso por la calidad del código, la documentación y la excelencia operativa.
