Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
The Core Infrastructure Engineering Team is responsible for managing all of the infrastructure and databases at BILL. We utilize DataDog (for Logging, Metrics, and APM), Splunk, and CloudWatch (through Datadog integration) for real-time alerts via Slack and PagerDuty. We're big supporters of automating our workflows with Infrastructure as Code, and we love using Terraform to make it happen.
We are seeking a Staff Cloud Network Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our AWS network platform. This role is for a hands-on technical leader with deep expertise in AWS networking and infrastructure as code who will set standards, influence architecture, and drive scalable, secure networking solutions across the BILL application ecosystem. You will act as the go to expert for cloud networking, partnering closely with infrastructure, security, and product engineering teams to ensure our network enables performance, reliability, and growth.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in network engineering, with a significant portion of that experience specifically focused on designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure in AWS or similar cloud environments.

What You’ll Do:
Customer Experience & Teamwork
Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Build strong and genuine connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice.
Address concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
Work closely with your team to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.
Operations & Store Standards
Help open and close the store, handle cash, and follow all procedures and regulations.
Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked, from the sales floor to the backroom.
Support inventory tasks like restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products.
Sales & Performance
Consistently meet (and beat!) daily sales goals by upselling, building trust, and using your product knowledge.
Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost customer satisfaction.
Stay on top of promotions and product updates to give customers a seamless experience.
Stay agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment.
Take on extra duties as needed to support the team and store success.
What You’ll Bring:
A high school diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing or sales role, with a strong focus on service and satisfaction.
A minimum of 6 months of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and team members alike.
Strong multitasking abilities and the agility to shift priorities as needed.
Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools to support daily operations and customer engagement.
Solid time management and organizational skills to stay on top of tasks and responsibilities.
Effective de-escalation techniques and a calm, solution-oriented approach to handling customer concerns.
Basic proficiency in math and computer applications to support transactions and reporting.

The Varicent Associate TAM works alongside Technical Account Managers within the Customer Success organization with a portfolio of clients who have subscribed to the VIP Program. The Associate TAM will act as a Varicent adviser to client resources with the aim to maximize the VIP client’s return on their Varicent investment. This will require building strong relationship with all stakeholders and supporting business goals by solving go to market challenges with innovative solutions. This will include answering product, process and solution specific questions as well as proactively monitoring existing solutions for optimal performance. Adapting and evolving existing solution with net new implementation and adoption of new features and functionality will help further drive the value of Varicent solutions. Working in tandem with the primary TAM, the Associate TAM will play an integral role in owning the customer’s technical success and supporting all system and solution–focused conversations.
