Learning Experience Designer (Remote Eligible Costa Rica)

Smartsheet is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join our team. As a LxDesigner, you'll put our employees’ knowledge above all else and have a passion for creating learning solutions. You'll work on a motivated, supportive team with ownership of our internal learning and development products. Graphic design and knowledge of human-computer interaction are essential, and, of course, becoming a certified Smartsheet user is important to your success.
You will report to our Manager, Learning Experience.This role is eligible for remote work within Costa Rica. You must reside in Costa Rica.
You Will:
- Develop creative, customer-centric, performance-based training materials.
- Manage learning product development projects, including scoping, managing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and working with other departments.
- Work with our Customer Excellence teams and SMEs to create storyboards/scripts and production-ready content that meet employees' needs.
- Report on and communicate the results of educational content to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Stay current on new learning approaches, behavioral science, and technology, and apply that knowledge to our learning products.
- Become a Smartsheet product expert
- Be an Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS). Maintain systems, create user profiles, create usage reports, publish SCORM, video, and other digital content etc.
- Other job duties as assigned.
You Have
- 5+ years of combined experience building engaging educational content in various modalities in consultation with your stakeholders.
- At least 2 years of experience creating educational content for SaaS.
- Strong grasp of adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Camtasia
- Experience with digital content creation using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- A portfolio of eLearning, video, and graphic design projects. The portfolio should reflect graphic design skills with a clean aesthetic.
- Experience using ID strategies to launch digital training
- Experience managing and reporting on all curriculum and assessment data
- LMS administration experience, including eLearning publishing and learning assessments.
- Basic knowledge of web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred.

We are seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to support the creation of high-quality video content for our aviation operations, marketing, training, and corporate communications. This is a senior-level role ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, visual content, and understands the full video production process across ideation, animation and editing to produce compelling motion graphics footage to support Archer’s marketing initiatives, brand content, and online platforms.
In addition to supporting video production, rapid-response static graphic design work will account for a portion of responsibilities of this role as well.
This role is based in-person at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, CA and Design Studio in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver motion-first visual storytelling across Archer’s brand, marketing, and communications.
- Design and deliver high-impact motion and static graphics for digital campaigns, social, web, email, video, and out-of-home.
- Execute end-to-end: concepting, design, animation, motion graphic editing, to delivery.
- Partner with our Design team to execute on target brand expression and visual standards across output.
- Set and maintain a high bar for typography, layout, color, pacing, and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with video, audio, and VFX contributors to produce polished, cinematic work.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in motion design and graphic design, ideally in brand or marketing.
- Confident animating type and graphics for short-form and campaign work.
- Expert command of typography, layout, color, and visual systems.
- Proven ability to concept at a high level and execute with precision.
- Strong demo reel and portfolio showing brand systems, marketing campaigns, motion graphics, and video work.
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Power user proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop (3D tools a plus).
- Clear communicator who can take direction, push ideas forward, and raise the creative bar.
Bonus Qualifications:
- 3D, simulation, or advanced motion capabilities.
- Experience designing for large-scale OOH or broadcast.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
