Job Summary: 

The Senior Program Controls Analyst is a crucial member of the Program Planning & Controls team, working closely with the department senior manager and Program Controls Cost and Scheduling analysts to ensure cost-schedule integration, effective program planning, and disciplined execution across a dynamic portfolio of programs. These programs serve DoD, NASA, and commercial customers, encompassing Firm-Fixed Price, Cost-Plus, and commercial contracts, some of which necessitate ANSI/EIA-748-compliant Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

In addition to supporting daily program controls and performance management, this role acts as a vital driver for the transition implementation of a corporate tools initiative that transitions our legacy business forecasting and planning tools to a single enterprise solution: ForProject, along with its reporting add-on, Empower.

The Senior Program Controls Analyst will interface with corporate finance, ensuring that program-level financial performance aligns with and supports the overall business. The Senior Program Controls Analyst also helps ensure that program tools, reporting practices, and processes are compatible with and contribute to the organization's broader financial health and planning.

The position reports to the Senior Business Operations Manager and is part of the Business Operations department based in San Diego, CA. This role is fully onsite.

In this role, the essential functions are:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze time-phased cost baselines, actuals, and forecasts in alignment with the program schedule, applying the appropriate level of rigor for each program—whether pure commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus, or EVMS-compliant.
• Support the development of Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB) and facilitate Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) where required, tailoring processes to align with contract type, lifecycle phase, and customer expectations.
• Prepare and analyze program performance metrics using methods appropriate to each program's contractual and operational needs, including BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, variance analysis, and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Collaborate with the Program Controls Scheduler to ensure the cost-schedule integration is effective and efficient, facilitating accurate performance measurement and reporting, including a complete EVMS report where necessary.
• Interface with corporate finance to align program reporting and forecasting with business objectives and financial planning cycles.
• Ensure that program-level tools and processes meet the business's financial reporting, forecasting, and control needs.
• Interface with Program Managers, CAMs, Engineering, Contracts, and Procurement to develop and validate Estimates to Complete (ETC).
• Monitor, analyze, and report program performance using metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and trend analysis.
• Support proposal development by preparing cost volumes, BOEs (Basis of Estimate), and schedule and cost planning integration.
• Support internal and customer-facing reviews, including PMRs, financial reviews, and customer data calls.
• Contribute to developing and improving cost control processes, reporting standards, and tool integrations.
• Collaborate with the department manager to drive training and development of the Program Planning & Controls analyst, development of EVM policy and system/tool implementation.

The Project Engineer for our Products business line is responsible for serving as the bridge between technical engineering teams, program management, manufacturing, and testing to ensure programs and projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as the primary financial partner to the Products portfolio Business Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping the financial performance of a fast-paced portfolio of defense and commercial contracts. Key Responsibilities

• Program Finance Partnering: Act as the financial lead for assigned programs, directly supporting the LOB Manager with daily financial strategy, budgeting, and performance management.
• Estimate at Complete (EAC): Lead the preparation and analysis of complex Quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) for FFP and Cost Reimbursement contracts to ensure accurate revenue and profit recognition.

About the Role

This role is for Aircraft Certification Engineers in one of the following areas: Propulsion Systems, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, or Flight Control Systems.

About the Role

As a key early member of our Engineering Organization, you will architect and execute the system safety and certification pathways for our emerging technology unmanned utility aircraft. About the Role

We’re looking for an Avionics Architecture Lead Engineer to own the end-to-end avionics system design for our autonomous aircraft. You will define the architecture, manage key avionics subcontractors, and ensure the system meets FAA certification requirements.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a self-starter who can zoom from high-level architecture down into ICD details, test plans, and flight-test findings.

What You’ll Do

• Own the avionics architecture.
  • Define the end-to-end avionics system, including mission computers, navigation, communications, surveillance, and payload interfaces.
    Select network topologies (ARINC 664/AFDX, TSN Ethernet, ARINC 429, CAN, etc.) and define redundancy, partitioning, and data flows.
  • Lead supplier & subcontractor integration.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for avionics vendors and integrators.
  • Drive SOWs, technical requirements, ICDs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review vendor designs, safety artifacts, and test results; hold them accountable to cost/schedule/technical performance.
• Ensure FAA airworthiness compliance.
  • Architect the system in accordance with ARP 4754A/4761, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, and applicable Part 23/25 guidance.
  • Support System Safety in the development and maintenance system-level requirements, safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA), and certification plans.
• Drive verification & validation.
  • Develop system-level test plans, HIL/LRU integration plans, and test objectives.
  • Work with test and flight teams to triage anomalies, root-cause issues, and feed fixes back into the architecture.
• Collaborate across the stack.
  • Partner with Autonomy, GNC, Flight Controls, and Cyber teams to ensure avionics supports robust, resilient autonomous operations.

What You Bring

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in avionics systems design and integration on certificated aircraft.
• Proven experience with FAA certification efforts, including hands-on work with some combination of:

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Scheduler to join our Program Management team and build the heartbeat of our development program. You’ll own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for our clean-sheet aircraft integrating design, manufacturing, and test activities from concept through first flight. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our engineering, manufacturing, and test leads to translate technical objectives into executable timelines and keep the team aligned on what matters most: delivering on cost, schedule, and performance.

• Develop, maintain, and baseline the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project across all phases of development.

About the Role

As a Technical Director for Uncrewed Aerial Systems at Atropos, you will serve as engineering leadership for our hardware engineering organization. This group is responsible for the hardware engineering disciplines in the design of uncrewed aerial systems. This includes conceptual and configuration design, aero performance, mechanical systems, structures design and analysis, propulsion integration, and electrical engineering efforts.

Areas of responsibility include the end-to-end development of aircraft, from conceptual development to detailed design; to include designing for scaled manufacturing, and designing for flight test and certification. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure the adequacy of the technical designs and solution, as well as drive the long term organizational development of the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as the technical lead for a major uncrewed aerial weapon system program or programs,  and will also have foundational expertise in one or more engineering disciplines below. You will leverage your technical expertise as well as leadership skills to set program objectives, build a team from zero to one, and drive this team to completion. • Representing Liquid Instruments at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other industry events

What success looks like in this role:

Within the first 6–12 months:

• You’re a go-to expert on one or more Moku products and their core use cases
• Sales teams actively rely on your content and tools in customer engagements
• Product and R&D teams seek your input based on customer and market insights
• You’ve played a key role in at least one major product launch or go-to-market initiative
• You’ve developed a range of customer-facing content, including blogs, videos, and webinars

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (EE preferred) with 3+ years of professional experience in a technical field
• Experience in a B2B technical marketing, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical role
• Hands-on familiarity with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and waveform generators
• Solid understanding of test and measurement markets, applications, and key players; experience with semiconductor test or aerospace and defense ATE is a plus
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive alignment and execution
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary:

• $100,000 - $130,000 annually
