We are looking for a field-based professional Oncology Account Executive, Sacramento (Stockton, Chico, Davis) with scientific and clinical expertise to support our oncology portfolio of liquid biopsy products. The position is responsible for driving sales volume for BillionToOne’s Northstar Liquid biopsy products and services, while cultivating relationships with oncologists and other members of the extended cancer care community in the designated geography. The Oncology Account Executive is a field based position and reports to a Regional Manager - Oncology.

Responsibilities:

• Increasing revenue and driving market development through direct sales to individual Oncologists
• Creating and implementing a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly in your geography
• Sales efforts include effective prospecting and cultivating new business and maintaining key relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 
• Demonstrated successful sales track record (e.g., Presidents club, Chairman's club, Rookie of the Year, or a history of success - at or above goal for multiple quarters/years)
• Experience selling to medical providers
• Experience selling medical diagnostics, medical or surgical devices
• Lives within the defined territory and centrally located to defined accounts 
• Commitment to travel within defined territory 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers
• Effective time management skills required with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunity required
• Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated and results oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
• Must act with a sense of urgency, with a focus on closing business
• Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members with a focus on consultative sales, coordination of logistics, and problem solving
• Strong desire to work in a startup environment and must work independently with an internal drive to be successful

Role Scope: 

In this role, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of direct nursing care to our participants in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, the clinic, adult day center, participant’s home, virtually, and SNF.  You will serve as a critical member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and work collaboratively to complete assessments and drive forward participant care plans as “quarterback” for your panel.

• Participate and facilitate  in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings by contributing insights from assessments, care plan recommendations, and care coordination in a collaborative spirit. 

• Conducts face-to-face nursing assessments that are inclusive of physical, psychosocial, and behavioral statuses in various settings, primarily in the Habitat center but also in–home. 

• In partnership with a medical provider, delivers personalized care for a panel of participants based on care plans. 

• Delivers and documents nursing interventions as agreed upon in participant's care plans, promptly and accurately responding to physician orders, and correctly administering medications and therapeutic interventions. 

• Provides case management longitudinally and during transitions of care. Proactively coordinates complex patient discharges, transfers, and immediate post-discharge needs with hospital and long-term care facility case managers  

• Coordinates all aspects of care delivery including medication management, medical equipment and supplies, and specialist and diagnostic referrals  

• Triages in the outpatient setting, which includes independently initiating therapies within scope of practice and collaboratively working with a medical provider to escalate care as needed. 

• Educates participants, caregivers including family members, and team members on how to personalize and carry out care plans. 

• Aid with all wound care (including complex wounds), IV (hydration, therapies), and any additional procedures within RN scope of practice identified to meet evolving participant needs. 

• Delegates tasks to MA and Licensed Vocational Nurses within their respective scopes of practice. 

• Remotely takes after-hour calls that are triaged on a rotating schedule. 

• Performs related duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications:  

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred. 

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required. 

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience clinically caring for medically complex or older adults’ population as an RN.   

• Minimum 1-2 year's experience in case management.  

• Strong clinical acumen in chronic disease management and complex geriatric care. 

• Demonstrates experience in management of clinical interventions: wound care, IVs, phlebotomy, colostomy/ileostomy care, etc. 

• Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test. 

• Proof of all immunizations are up to date. 

• Proof of current CPR/BLS certification required or requirement to obtain within 30 days of employment. 

• Proof of valid CA driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record and auto insurance as required by State law. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Alzheimer’s certification is preferred. 

• Case Management certification preferred  

• Bilingual: Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred. 

Compensation:  

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $55.00 to $68.00/hour. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.

The Nursing Solutions Group is involved throughout the trial life cycle, from protocol development and feasibility analysis to clinical trial implementation and closeout.

The Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nurse who will work per diem and has experience across multiple therapeutic areas with the ability to work independently and integrate well with the Nursing Solutions Group. With interest/expertise in Science 37’s decentralized model of care delivery, the Mobile Research Nurse will perform delivery of care to participants as well as collaborate with brick and mortar sites, if indicated, for shared clinical trial implementation. The Mobile Research Nurse ensures the professional delivery of patient care in compliance with all federal and state regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and Standard Operating Procedures. 

*This is a travel role that requires on-site visits to participants homes.

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

1. Participate and provide research nurse services to qualified study participants at home
2. Apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions to complex problems
3. Collaborate with Lead and Per Diem Mobile Research Nurses on solutioning, education, and resource support
4. Participate in activities that will further the operational development of Science 37 nursing service delivery
5. Develop relationships with study team members and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on all nursing processes

14. Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)

There is minimal supervision for this position, with individuals reporting to the Manager, Nursing Solutions Group.

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $50-55 per hour. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate’s actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
