The Position
At OPSWAT’s Technology Development Centre in Timisoara, we are looking for talented AI Native Senior .NET Engineer to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT). As an AI Native Senior .NET Engineer, you orchestrate a fleet of AI agents to architect, build, and deploy production-grade systems, and AI agents are a core part of your daily workflow. You build complex multi-service systems, create custom coding harnesses and test frameworks, and reverse-engineer existing systems entirely through AI workflows. You are measured by the speed of deployment and the robustness of what you ship, not the volume of your commits. You think in terms of “how do these pieces fit together as a system” and blend product, design, and analytical thinking into your delivery.

You Will Have the Opportunity to
- Take ownership of features from concept to delivery: write precise specifications, work closely with teammates and stakeholders to refine requirements, and drive your work through to production with full accountability.

- Create custom coding harnesses and test frameworks for structured, repeatable AI-assisted development — giving the team reliable scaffolding that agents can operate within safely and consistently.
- Maintain and evolve the .NET Core codebase, continuously raising performance, scalability, and code quality as the product grows toward millions of users.
- Author and keep current AI context files for every service you own — machine-readable architecture docs that encode coding standards, architectural constraints, and forbidden patterns so agents produce consistent, safe, on-pattern code across the team.
- Help define and codify AI-native engineering practices for the MFT Enterprise team — establishing playbooks, context file standards, and review norms the broader engineering organization can adopt.
What We Are Looking For
- AI-Native Fluency: Deep, hands-on experience integrating AI agents as core engineering tools, not add-ons — you approach every problem with an AI-native mindset. Must show real work (PRs, commit history, or portfolio) where agents drove backend velocity
- Technical Excellence (.NET Core / C#): Strong proficiency in .NET / C# with a S.O.L.I.D understanding of programming principles, design patterns, and best practices. AI tools amplify strong fundamentals — they do not replace them.

You’ll be in charge of quickly and efficiently identifying and fixing any damage to our fleet of vehicles. You have a keen eye for detail and will ensure that every ride on our e-scooter is safe and reliable.
In addition, you’ll perform thorough safety tests on our vehicles to make sure that they are roadworthy. We aim to provide customers with a top-notch transport experience, and your dedication to maintaining high safety standards will help us achieve this.
Ensuring the highest quality for our e-scooters by conducting general repair work and check-ups. Inspecting the e-scooters in use and identifying problems within the different parts of the product. Testing e-scooters before releasing them to ensure their quality and safety standards. Putting new e-scooters into service: unpacking, doing quality checks, adding necessary equipment, ensuring safety, and troubleshooting. Assisting with warehouse operations, including inventory and battery management, shipments, and general housekeeping.
You demonstrate a high level of attentiveness and accuracy in your work. You possess the knowledge and skills to operate various hand and power tools. Your proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of challenges are reflected in your hands-on work. You have experience in repairing mechanical devices, particularly in the automotive or electronic repair fields. You have solid local language skills and experience using smartphones. Having English skills is an advantage.

Your Impact
We are hiring a Director of Technical Support (International) to play a pivotal role in scaling our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technical Support teams globally. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Support, you will be responsible for building the operational foundation, structure, and cross-functional partnerships necessary to support our rapidly evolving product portfolio across geographical regions.
This role requires a strong technical support leader with deep operational experience, a solid working knowledge of connected device products, a track record of building and transforming teams, and the ability to lead through change. You will shape and implement scalable support processes, drive post-acquisition alignment, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and IT to deliver a unified, world-class customer experience.

Reports to: Sr. Director, Global Support
1. Global Support Leadership
- Lead international Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technical Support teams supporting Axon body cameras, TASER devices, Evidence.com, Interview Room, and Fleet solutions.
- Establish and scale a follow-the-sun support model to ensure seamless global coverage and case handoffs across regions.
- Build and develop Axon’s Bucharest Support Center of Excellence, establishing operational rigor, strong leadership, and scalable team structures.
- Coach and develop frontline employees while driving a high-performance, customer-first culture.
2. Operational Excellence & Tier 1 Management
- Drive Tier 1 operational performance including WFM, QA programs, scheduling, and real-time adherence.
- Own core support KPIs including CSAT, SLA adherence, backlog health, escalation rates, and first contact resolution.
- Implement structured operational cadences, reporting, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strengthen Tier 1 → Tier 2 escalation workflows and knowledge transfer.
3. Technical Support & Escalation Leadership
- Provide leadership oversight for Tier 2 troubleshooting across hardware, firmware, networking, mobile, and cloud systems.
- Own escalation management and high-severity incident coordination across Support, Engineering, and Product teams.
- Drive root cause analysis and systemic improvements that improve product reliability and customer experience.
- Ensure strong technical depth and subject matter expertise across Axon product lines.
4. AI, Automation & Support Innovation
- Champion an AI-first approach to support operations through automation, LLM-enabled workflows, and intelligent tooling.
- Identify opportunities to improve agent productivity, troubleshooting workflows, and customer self-service capabilities.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and internal AI teams to modernize support systems and processes.
5. Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a key support leader partnering with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales.
- Translate support insights into actionable product feedback and operational improvements.
- Ensure support readiness for new product launches, firmware updates, and platform releases.

- Strong knowledge of routing and switching methodologies, Wi-Fi, telecommunications, and Internet technologies
- Strong knowledge of virtualization and virtual machines, computer/server hardware, operating systems, and storage devices, redundant storage solutions, SSH, and SSO identity providers such as ADFS, Azure, and/or OKTA
