What You'll Do
Psyonix (a subsidiary of Epic) is looking for a Senior Systems Designer to develop, manage, implement, and/or lead designs for Rocket League. You will work with development teams of Artists, Programmers, Designers, Producers, and Product Managers to develop features and content to entertain and delight the Rocket League player base.
In this role, you will
- Design, develop, implement, and/or improve systems in accordance with Rocket League design principles.
- Develop game systems that drive match feedback, player analytics, and matchmaking.
- Create clear and concise design documentation and lead design projects for Rocket League.
- Work with Design, Development, Production, and Product leadership across Epic to guide the tactical execution of initiatives related to Rocket League.
- Partner with the Production team to provide a clear timeline regarding design tasks, priorities, and status
- Drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and guide implementation efforts on features, systems, and/or designs you are responsible for
- Monitor community feedback, identify player needs, evaluate what’s actionable, and create a plan of action to address
What we're looking for
- Passion for Rocket League and similar esports-based titles
- Familiarity and interest in Fortnite Ecosystem features and mechanics
- Advanced level of professional game design experience (7+ years) with an emphasis in systems design on shipped competitive multiplayer and/or live “as a service” games
- Advanced level of professional technical design experience (5+ years) with an emphasis on technical implementation on shipped competitive multiplayer games
- Demonstrable proficiency in written communication and a track record of effectively conveying your design through documentation
- Exceptional verbal communication skills with experience guiding collaboration across diverse disciplines
- A passion for active self-growth and the growth of the colleagues around you
- Experience with Unreal Editor + Blueprints
- Professional experience with a high-level programming language (e.g., C++, C#, Swift, JavaScript, Python, Verse, etc.)

Ce dont vous serez responsable
- Concevoir, développer, mettre en œuvre et améliorer des systèmes en accord avec les principes de conception de Rocket League
- Créer des systèmes de jeu qui soutiennent la rétroaction des matchs, l’analyse des joueurs et le jumelage automatique (matchmaking)
- Rédiger une documentation de conception claire et concise, et diriger les initiatives de conception pour Rocket League
- Collaborer avec les équipes de conception, de développement, de production et de gestion de produit d’Epic afin de guider la mise en œuvre tactique des initiatives liées à Rocket League
- Travailler avec l’équipe de production pour établir des échéanciers clairs concernant les tâches, priorités et statuts liés à la conception
- Assurer l’alignement entre plusieurs parties prenantes et encadrer la mise en œuvre des fonctionnalités, systèmes et conceptions dont vous êtes responsable
- Surveiller les commentaires de la communauté, identifier les besoins des joueurs, évaluer ce qui est réalisable et élaborer un plan d’action pour y répondre
Ce que nous recherchons
- Passion pour Rocket League et les jeux de type Esport

We are looking for a Mobile Developer to join our squad. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our established and robust iOS ecosystem. While you will spend significant time working within our native Swift environment, you will also help us explore and implement modern cross-platform efficiencies. We are beginning to strategically integrate React Native for specific new features, and you will play a vital role in determining how these two worlds best interact.

What you’ll be doing:
- You will be the point person for mobile within your squad, maintaining and expanding a high-scale native application used by major global manufacturers.
- We aren't doing a "rewrite." You will help us identify high-impact opportunities to use React Native for new UI/UX components while keeping the core of the app natively performant.
- You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team (FE, BE, QA, Design) that operates with a startup mentality. You have the freedom to influence your squad’s technical roadmap and daily processes.
- We are actively leveraging AI tools (like Claude) to accelerate our development. You’ll help us bridge the gap between native Swift patterns and more AI-friendly web-standard architectures.
What we’re looking for
Required
- 4+ years of experience in native iOS development using Swift
- Strong knowledge of Apple technologies (Swift, UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English
- Experience building client-server applications
Strong assets
- Experience with React Native
- Participation in a native-to-cross-platform migration (optional)
